A smile of excitement grows across Yuki's face. First, thank you sir! She gives a generous bow, her hair the color of snow nearly touches the floor in front of her. I will return the book after I give it a look over, and trust the scribes to find anything I may have missed. Yuki, now risen from her bow darts her eyes to the right, then focuses back on Ulruant, As for the expedition, I can leave as soon as I return the tome... What did the quiet elf find?
Yuki gives an embarrassed look, unsure what she did that seemed to make her mentor uncomfortable. So, "Serious-laus" found what he was looking for then? That is good news! Yuki chuckles. Being anxious to finally get some air, she nearly forgot the nature of her meeting. Ehem... I look forward to hearing about his discovery. My findings, you ask... Yuki continues to describe the note she found detailing the "Waters of Life", and explains that she had "checked-out" the book, wishing dedicate some time to investigating its history and significance, without the danger of anyone tampering with it while she was away.

Sir, Yuki says, as she displays a passive persona, you could imagine if she pointy ears that they would be laid down. How grateful I am each day to be out of the rain. Along with the strange greeting, the young researcher offers a very courtly bow. Being a performer at heart, it seemed natural to her, though it was almost too proper for seeing her mentor. The First Reader very kindly mentioned that you wished to speak with me... Yuki pauses for a moment, almost as if contemplating the taste a very intricate spirit. She then continues like there was no interruption. ...regarding my findings?
Yuki Midori drops the book from behind the tapestry and pulls it into her hand. Almost as if pouncing, she rushes down the corridor to where her room resides. After finding a secure place to put her treasure, she freshens up in a mirror and proceeds to the door. As she exits the room, Yuki reaches for her most prized scarf. It was one her father had given her just before he disappeared, and the same that she was wearing on the very day she showed up at Candlekeep, seeking admittance. Yuki runs with all of her might through the halls and makes her way to meet Reynolds. Question:

Yuki is taken back that she is to be escorted. I just want to be free again... I can't stand being so confined. She fidgets a bit, and steps facing away from the tapestry she has lifted the book behind. This sounds urgent. I wonder if Stanizlaus' findings came through. I may have to leave this book here, if I cannot convince him to let me return to my room... At least maybe I will see some sunlight soon. The young seeker attempts to find out how serious this is, and if she can get a moment alone to return the book to her quarters. I see. Do you know what this is about, Reynolds?
A panic fills Yuki Midori's body. Concerned about the book she has borrowed from the study, Yuki hastily runs possible scenarios though her mind. "It is not like I stole it, I will bring it back" she reasons. Surely no one will care." Yuki's heart begins pushing blood at an alarming rate, "But what if I do get punished? I can't bear another embarrassment! I will be locked away for good!" In a nervous flurry, Yuki looks at the book in her hands, then looks to the nearest tapestry. "Got it," the panicked fox-kin shouts in her mind. With a new-found confidence, Yuki mutters a chant under her breath. She attempts to hide the book between the wall and the tapestry. She intends to hold it there until she is in the clear. (Assuming book is < 5 lbs.) Dice:

Yuki comes to the conclusion after a short while that she will take the book to her quarters to look it over after the sun goes down, when she has more free time.
She plans to look for Stanizlaus, to ask of his findings, after securing the tome in her quarters.
I am liking it a lot, especially the details!
Yuki's mind wanders and dreams of the possibilities of where the note originated from, and where it could take her.
Taking one last look out the window, Yuki takes the tome that fell from the shelf and looks for anyone who might know who last looked through it. She also browses through the book for any clues as to why it was placed specifically in this book, and to determine what page the note was in.
Tione: When is an appropriate time to spoiler? Is it designed so other characters don't see what you are saying to DM? So they don't know your intentions? I assume you only read spoilers addressed to you?
Fascinated by her findings, Yuki Midori imagines what thrills could await her just on the other side of these walls. She traced her finger up her arm, brushing away a coat of dust that had settled on her skin. "I need a change of pace," she thought. Though her injuries have mostly cleared up, humiliation left a much larger scar. "If I present my findings to Ulruant, I doubt he will let me go out, after that boar incident... I will see this through on my own, to show that I am capable." She attempts to slip the note into her clothing. Yuki looks up at Stanizlaus for a moment, noting his departure.
