Anthropomorphic Lemming Levels? What are those?
Roland feels something 'grab' him, similar to whatever had deposited him in this weird structure, or whatever it was. The hallway fades to black, then he finds himself in a new room, lit by the strange smokeless torches that he'd seen in the previous place. Glancing around he sees that he is alone. There is a portculis on one wall, (I'm going to call the top North, etc) a door to the West and two to the south. Currently all is quiet.
What is this? This is an old style, very old style, (almost as old as me?) mindless dungeon crawl. There is no plot. Sometimes there will be monsters in rooms that make no sense! Sometimes you might find an empty room. Sometimes it might just appear empty. Sometimes, well, I can't list all options. Just remember that this is all created by a Mad Arch-Mage Demigod with access to magic that your character can't hardly imagine! Hopefully I'm not stepping on any toes, but I'm ending my gauntlet on the old tap-a-talk board and starting it up here. Good luck! Rules: Pathfinder, Core rules, Ultimate books. No third party, no Advanced Races, no Mythic and no Unchained. I'm not familiar enough with them and don't want to add that homework. No monster characters. No evil characters. (Zagyg is summoning adventurers to His dungeon and His spell doesn't summon evil adventurers!) Feel free to kill any of the monsters. Feel free to talk to the monsters. DO NOT ATTACK OTHER ADVENTURERS! Zagyg is not above turning your sword to rubber, reversing your magic, etc. and he doesn't like it when his playthings fight among themselves! Two traits. No drawbacks. Start at 1st level with Max gold for the class and Max HP. Later I might allow higher level as the party gains XP and needs new characters. I will be trying to post multiple times per day, responding to whatever I see. If I see that you are not posting, well, once the party moves on you just might stay where you are, fading from view. Or you might just dissolve into a puddle of goo.... So, how does this work? Simple, check out the game thread. Figure out a character concept that you would like. Provide me a link to your character sheet/Alias. I'll send an email once I've looked at it. (I might have to ask about the mechanics of the character so I can build the perfect monster to kill, er, I mean challenge you!) Then make your "grand entrance"! "Bamf", "Pop", or any other sound you'd like, or not. You can appear outside of a room that the characters just entered, inside the room behind the monsters, etc. (Be advised, when you pop in to help the party, Zagyg just might add to the encounter!) You don't need to provide a War And Peace length history, but if you plan to play a particular "quirk", please provide that in your history. |
