About Yonas Amadi
Background:
Yonas Amadi was born to a poor family of foresters in western Garund. He was a troublesome child, often punished, and left by following a passing caravan out of town. He trailed the caravan and snuck into camp at night to beg or steal food. The guards tried to drive him away, but after three days of the boy the caravan master took him in and put him to work. Over the years he picked up some wood-working skills, an interest in basic mechanisms, and some fighting experience.
Eventually life on the road lost its charm for the aging caravan master. He sold away his animals and carts. Yonas tried to set up his own outfit, but his effort was poorly financed, too small, and doomed to failure. His first contact with the Pathfinder's came just after the caravan had been raided,looted and burned by a tribe of gnolls. A passing Pathfinder found him and gave him some water and food. History repeated itself. Yonas trailed the Pathfinder for three days, until the man accepted him as a companion.
