Yagnar has always been an outcast his whole life. Not fitting in with the savage life style of the orcs of Belkzan where he was born, he slipped away and fled to the lands of the humans. However much he did not fit in with the orcs and their savagery, the humans in the civilized lands considered him too savage on the same level as he viewed his people. In his mind, only one option remained, join the crusade at the world wound.
Before he got to Kenabres, the caravan he was traveling with was ambushed by a group of evil cultists. Almost everyone died, but he managed to slip away during the fight, having to leave almost everything of value that he owned behind. The cultists were hot on his heels until a beautiful mysterious woman carrying the symbol of Desna helped him escape the cultists. She seemed sad, but he never had a chance to find out who she was or why she was sad for when the crusaders found him, she was gone.
Making it to Kenabres after that encounter he felt it was finally time to turn things around. However, he wasn't accepted into joining the ranks of the crusade immediately as he expected. So with little to no money and the realization he would not be fighting demons and cultists on the front lines, Yagnar took any job he could and started to save his money to leave Kenabres and strike out somewhere else where he could have a chance to prosper. (Though he does not know where that would be)
Currently he is acting as a bouncer/enforcer for local establishments as well as some side jobs that are questionably legal, if not outright illegal. He has not been able to save enough to leave yet, and the longer it takes the less likely it feels that he will ever get out.
