I've got a 1st level who has 2 XP already. Is that okay, or would you like a 0 XP character (those are easy to come by :) )
Jones228 wrote: Interest check - looking for a party of 1st level adventures who haven't played the bounties yet. Would like to run them all consecutively. If we start sometime in June it should take us right to the release of #4 for an even 1 XP. I had the opportunity to play the Rasheen's trio of missions with the same players and It was a great experience, looking to do something similar here (but on a slightly smaller scale). I've not had a chance to play (or run) any of the bounties, so I'd be interested as well.
I've got a level 2 soldier that I've not gotten to play yet (GM baby), if you are still looking for one more I'd be glad to join.

Does anyone know if the local lodge will be running anything?
Edit: I just got an email from Origins today which talks about the on-line component. https://www.originsgamefair.com/origins-online
Will these be part of any of the current Starfinder subscriptions?
Dice received! Thank you for all your help!
So close!
Hi again, I just received order 29914298 which contained my missing Skittermander pins, but not the Attack of the Swarm dice. Instead it contained the Attack of the Swarm Pawn Collection (my third...)
Help?
All good! Thanks for your help.
This is a repeat request that was originally sent via email:
Email Date: Aug 12 '20
Email Subject: Orders 26849236 & 22308039 (was Re: Order #22308039 - Items missing)
Issue 1:
Joan previously helped me with three items that were missing from Order 22308039, shipped May 21st, but the replacements have never been sent.
It looks like Order 29914298 contains the replacement items, but hasn't shipped. Missing the final step of submitting the order?
Issue 2:
Order 26849236, shipped Jul 24, was overcharged by $30.50 ($30 should have been from store credit, and $0.50 part of the first ten shipping).
Order 30111171, shipped Aug 27, may have applied the credit missed on order 26849236, but I'm not certain.
Can someone check on that?
Thanks!
Mike / Wolffauer
Any updates on the Customer Service status? (Last update was Sept 23rd). I'm looking for progress on an emailed support question.

Play-by-Post Gameday IX is also running Pathfinder 1E Special #7-00.
Looks like Gateway 2020 Online is running PFS #2-00 as well (saw the call for GMs on their Facebook page)

GM Quirk wrote: Serious question for any GM's following this thread:
Would anyone like to step up to GM and collaborate picking players with me for an additional table? There are several fine submissions, most with excellent posting history. Honestly, I could see even THREE excellent games being chosen from this group of players.
I considered something like that, but I admit that I'd much rather play it before running it. (Same thing I do with Society scenarios)

Here is my proposed character
Name: Oakenshade
Race: Ghoran (Oakling, Psychosynthesis)
Theme: Sensate
Class: Vanguard (Momentum)
Gender and Pronouns: None, They/Them
General Backstory: Oakenshade was raised, in a fairly isolated enclave on Ghorus Prime, with tales of the near extermination of his people and their exodus from the Pack Worlds. His grove kept many of the old ways, and eschewed the much of the modern world, but Oakenshade wanted more. They wanted to experience life and see different worlds. So began their travels.
Personality: Oakenshade is fairly quiet, until they find something new to catch their interest - then it is hard for them to hold back their excitement.
Flaw(s): Oakenshade has never been able to overcome the distrust of "flesh" creatures that was imparted by his upbringing, especially the humanoid races of old lost Golarion. They are more likely to take the word of non-humanoids over humanoids.
Quirk(s): Like many Ghoran, Oakenshade doesn't eat. They get quite disgusted when they see others eat ("Like some sort of animals!"). They avoid all restaurants and bars for this reason.
Traveling: Having explored several systems in the Veskarium, they have found their thoughts turning to the Pact Worlds. A little a afraid, but very curious, they boarded The Chimera to start the next stage of their journey.
About me: My first RPG was D&D back in '79... Been playing on and off since then. These days I'm all in on Starfinder, with a dash of 5e.
Interest as well. I'm running a game for Outpost III, but not playing in anything right now.
Edit: Friday, my Shirren PI would have fun with this one.
Before my players reach this point - in the initial spaceship encounter, do you think defeating the drone launch platform disables the drones? It doesn't seem to be explicitly stated one way or another (at least I didn't find it in my reading).
Since the platform is in part controlling the drones (and can't control more than two at a time), I'm leaning towards Yes. The adventure seems to assume the players will defeat the drones and just disable the launching of new ones.
I'm having a hard time finding stuff with the new Rules section structure. Using search I used to be able to find things pretty easily, now more often than not I just land at the Rules section and have to try and dig down to what I want - and sometimes that isn't even possible.
Example: Search for "blinded". The top result is [Conditions] Blinded. Click that link and you land at the Rules page.
Okay, open the Core Rule Book section, scroll down to Tactical Rules - Conditions. Click that and you get the definition of what conditions are, but not the actual list of conditions.
Am I missing something?
Thanks! I never spotted that option :)
Howdy!
Is there any way to apply Paizo store credit to subscription purchases? How about to items placed in the Side Cart?
Thanks!
I've a level 4 blitz soldier or a level 1 gadgeteer operative. I'd prefer to play within tier, so that would drive my choice.
I'm still missing mine (just noticed...)
I'm looking for these as well.
GM Blazej wrote: I wanted to open up with a few questions. I wanted to ask if anyone who would be up to play in faster paced SFS scenario (either 1-01: The Commencement or 1-03: Yesteryear's Truth) looking for an average of two posts per day per player. I would be looking to finish this before the upcoming Gameday in little more than a month and would be starting in the next couple days.
The next question I would have would be if this is even reasonable or if I should instead just relax and avoid running a game until after Gameday has largely passed.
I've got a new lvl 2 who'd love to go through Commencement.

HammerJack wrote: I believe there is an error in the description of area A6. The description text states that the shorter northern walkway moves faster than the longer southern walkway. However, the mechanics of the area state that the southern walkway is faster. The northern walkway is actually going faster - 10' of movement on the southern one will move you 15', while 10' of movement on the northern one will move you 20' (10' for each 5').
HammerJack wrote: Area A1 also seems to have fallen into the trap of forgetting about environmental protections. While I think I'm more prone than most to arguing that characters should not be assumed to have protections active at all times, if they haven't said anything about activating them and don't have an obvious need for them, this life threatening Eoxian obstacle course isn't the sort of situation I would expect characters to enter with their helmets off. That makes the fortitude saves against sweltering temperature seem a bit less relevant. I'll probably run this by assuming their protections are off, and if they want to spend an action to turn them on that's one less action to get to the finish line.
Eric Clingenpeel wrote: How many tables is the minimum for running this? It'd be nice if that was mentioned in the description. I found this in the Running the Event section:
"The Scoured Stars Invasion is an interactive special event intended
to accommodate multiple tables of play (from 3 tables up to 150+
tables)."
That is the only statement I spotted relating the a minimum number of tables.
After July 22, can someone sign up to play in two different tiers of the Starfinder special?
Aaah! I don't know what to run for PBP Gameday!
Are folks still interested in the early Starfinder scenarios? I'd like to run something I haven't run before (like 1-00, 1-05, 1-07, 1-08, 1-10, or 1-11)

I got to play this at Origins and I don't quite understand one of the boons on the chronicle sheet (fame one). Could some one spell it out for me? (PM is fine to avoid spoiling it for others).

Anyone out there looking to run #1-30 Survivor's Salvation any time soon? I wasn't able to attend when it ran locally, and I'd love to play it before Origins.
DoubleGold wrote: Rerecruiting for Against the Aeon Throne Campaign mode. The players are on book 2. At least 2 spots are open, maybe more Interested and posted to your recruiting page.
Howdy! I'm interested in joining in on book 2. I'll have to see what the party is currently made of before working up a character.
Edit: First choice is a Brakim Operative.
DoubleGold wrote: Interest check. Who wants to play Signal of Screams? It starts at level 7. It will be AP mode, and it has some good "Give and Take Boons," can't say anything more without spoilers, though you can find out for yourself just by downloading the SFS rules and chronicle sheets for it. It has some unique curses to it. Of course this will start after Ash Wednesday. I'm interested, but I'll be traveling during the first half of March, so I wouldn't want to start before then.
Hilary Moon Murphy wrote: First timers are welcome. We won't take you for the special -- we have a rule that we want people to GM something else in PBP before we hand them a special -- but you are welcome to GM something else!
As for starting a week late, if you do that I would like you to muster your table early, so that you can let them know about your later start date. Make your new start date clear to everyone. Losing a week can be a big deal, so that means that you'd need to keep a much tighter pace throughout the rest of the convention so that your table can end on time.
Do you think you could keep a faster pace going during the rest of the convention?
No worries with the special, running it once was enough for me :)
Mustering early and moving quickly won't be a problem. I'm already on-line all day during the week.
Before I put my name in to GM - two quick questions.
This would be my first PbP GM session, is that okay?
Can I start a week late? I'll be on a boat until 3/16.

Hello everyone, I'm running an iteration of 1-01 (The commencement) a teir 1-2 repeatable. I have 3 already signed up, but I a'm looking for at least one (up to three) more. For those that are interested, you can sign up here:
No starship tag.

Looks like there is a space in the link, which is why it hasn't worked for some folks. Try this
Well, I'm signed up to play #1-27 on Dec 16th (several of us will be running playtest characters), but I've played the other two.
We get in two games a month plus the occasional catch up game for folks who missed one or GM'd it.
GM Hmm wrote: In a moment of insanity, I have decided to run a high-level (5-8) Playtest Game. If you have a regular 7-8 character that you would like to play within it, you may of course apply, but I am giving precedence to the Playtest characters. Sounds awesome! Wish I had a 5-8 scenario that I haven't played yet.
Yakman wrote: any reason why this is not available? just learning about society (only played 1 time, but it was AWESOME) and trying to learn the ropes. GM Blake wrote: Just an update: I'm starting to review the applications and check the references for those I'm not already familiar with. Just noticed we are currently in a game together: Ashes of Discovery with Mordin and Asterion
Hmm.. so many cool races out there. Looking at Osharus, Pahtra (for the Vesk connection), Quorlu or Trox.
