I have a question on how to deal with the treasure on page 18. How do I apply this for a player using a level 7 pre-gen and applying it to a new 1st level character?

If a player plays an adventure at a tier they don't have a character for, they can't apply the chronicle sheet until they reach the level it was played at (in this case, either level 7 or level 5, depending on the subtier).

As for that particular bit of treasure, while they do get to "claim" it, that's just flavor to my understanding, they still have to purchase any items in order to actually have them for their character.

The player can still apply it to a 1st level character for less credits, etc. If the treasure is just flavor text the wording is a bit strange for that.

Never mind, was tired and figured it out.

Questions on the the players may claim one of the following:
clearly for the first 2 caches those claimed items can be used for the rest of the scenario.

1) Do the players actually get to keep the 3 items they choose (I'm guessing no)?
2) Do I cross off the items not chosen from the chronicle sheet handed out?

No to both.

Just want to verify: while the Kiirinta Admittance boon can only be USED if you've got credit for both games, it can be EARNED with just this one, right? Like if you're in the regretable situation where the table for the first game failed to fire, and you've managed to snag a second chance at it but only scheduled after you've played part two?

Yeah, per the Primary Success Condition, as long as you complete the adventure, you earn the boon, but it can't be used until you have Reputation Level 3 and Drat That Rat on another character.

Was the wording of the Kiirinta Admittance boon intended to require playing both parts on different characters?

It's this text that causing some local GM's and I to question it: "at least one of your other characters has the “Drat That Rat!” boon"

I think "other characters" is in reference to the Kiirinta you are creating, not the character who played 2-08.

Official Clarification: The Kiirinta Admittance Boon just needs you to own the Drat That Rat on any of your characters. The wording is a bit jumbled here and does make it seem like you need to play the series on two different characters, which is not the intent.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick response.

I look forward to building a murderous moth person shortly after running this.

Some oddness on the Kiirintas PC stat block. The Reverberating Shriek ability says the "DC = 10 + half the Kiirinta's character level + the target's constitution modifier." Should that be the Kiirinta's constitution modifier? Having a DC that changed based on the target is an interesting idea, but not a bookkeeping exercise I really want to see.

See Here For Response.

Basically, it should be the CON of the kiirinta.

Great.
