Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

I'm up for Tsar. The 1st edition feel of danger I don't have a problem with, unlike with Jim's suggestion for a system that punishes you if you get bad dice rolls. Won't be asking for summoner since he has found a game now.

Ambroze wrote:
Willow, don't forget the +2 to Hit from Naturalist.

Naturalist?

Round 3 action

Willow casts another produce flame ready and then hurls another flame at one of the Wights and misses entirely.

attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow hurls a flame at one of the creatures in the hopes of setting it alight.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 vs touch

damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

If others are making their way to the exit, Willow will follow at her base speed after the attack of 30ft, unless everyone is double moving, therefore discount the above attack.

Tun'ada wrote:

Maintain readied position with the spear.

Tun'ada keeps a wary eye on the undead creatures above, while calmly talking to his companions. "Everyone move. It would appear that they are trying to bring the ceiling down on us."

Willow nods

"No argument here." she sneers towards the ceiling. "Better we move or we might be crushed or worse, rise as one of those abominations."

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Detect magic

spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

curiosity killed the cat. Meh.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow, having difficulty to do anything ele in this situation once again attempts to burn one of the salt-crystal covered abominations off of Tun'ada.

attack: 1d20 + 5 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 5 - 4 = 20 -4 from in mellee

damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th
Chi T'reignial wrote:
Chi keeps a look out over the water, her bow ready to protect Tun'ada. She whispers to Willow, "Tun'ada is brave, if a little foolhardy. But then we would all used our skills to help our friends, remember that Willow."

Willow nods, understanding this. Before she is able to reply, however, the undead appear and she hurls a bolt of flame from her hands at one of the undead, hoping it isn't too near Tun'ada to risk harming him.

ranged touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow casts produce flame to keep herself armed in case something appears.

lasts for 5 mins, unless something happens before then.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

have we rested since our black pearl excursion? I've forgotten.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

wow london and you have a Ipad? I've been missing a lot.

Willow wrinkles her nose in dislike at the mention of possible undead.
"I say we purify the area of this scourage. Such unnatural beings need to be destroyed so that nature can take it's course and they return to the earth where life begins."

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th
Marcus Alanto wrote:

Assuming the book doesn't look like it has anything useful (ie a map or details on the mine).

Yep. Lets get started. Can I have a light on my shield?

Marcus will lead the way into the tunnels.

Willow will you stand at the rear with Chi?

Thinking me just in front of Tun'ada, Tsura and Ambroze in the middle, Chi and Willow at the rear unless someone has a better idea. Also suggest casters cast any hours/lvl before we go in.

Willow nods at the request and nods to him.

"Sure."

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow smiles at the overgrown buildings.
"Nature, reclaiming it's land." she smiles as she clenches her toes together in the soil and sighs. "It's a beautiful sight."

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Willow smiles and nods as she looks in Ambroze's direction.
"The spell should keep you safe, if we run into any trouble." she smiles towards the Gnome.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow listens to the woman and nods.

Polyglot:

"I can't speak for all of us, but I used to live with a group of druids deep in this very forest. I am sorry for what happened to your parents, but I am certain we are able to handle ourselves."

"Are you protecting this area from the colonists? You could join us in these tunnels as we might be able to clense them of evil."

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow looks at this strange woman in somewhat awe, but she makes sue to have her hands up and ready for casting, if things turn violent. She narrows her eyes, hoping to catch sight of where this Jaji is.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

"A mine where people dissappear..." Willow states apprehensively, but then smiles to the group. "From what I have seen of everyone, we will get through this mine no matter what might be lurking in there." Willow smiles as she clearly agrees to take the mine.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

as said ot DM, nothing to buy since Willow was born into the campaign when the group were in Sargava and ergo, no real cash to buy anything of significance.

Willow takes her time to enjoy the scenery in this jungle, loving the feel of soil under her feeth and mud between her toes. to the casual onlooker, the forest might not look that amazing, but to her she noticed many trees that were probably here long before the settlers even arrived and others that might have had their roots in the ground back in ancient times where Elves and humans were enemies in their great empires.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Done

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

think my xp count was off. Anyway will update tomorrow.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

I'm out. No religion or planes, just nature and geography.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow is intrigued by what the old man says. She remains quiet though, letting him continue the chant and watching with awe how he could concentrait with the battle that was going on.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow keeps on her stomping, trying to crush the snake's head under her hooves, however she isn't very strong and is not used to getting so close to vicious creatures.

Hoof 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11

Hoof 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15

damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Looking at the rules, all the gear melds in and shields and armour are not included.

Willow's AC: 14

willow's hp:31/37

Willow, confused by what has happened moves up close to Marcus the Rhino and attempts to stamp on the snake with her hooves, whinnying as she does so.

Hoof 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Hoof 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow, now a horse is stunned by this transformation. She has learnt of other druids transforming, but this is the first time it's ever happened to her, especially as she went down this path of becoming a druid of storms.

"This is so different, but pleasent." she conveys in this new form, not having an ability to smile, but communicating it best as she can as she tries to lay down as she remains in this new form.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow lets the root take it's full effect, looking at the rest of the group and wondering what effect this will have on her.

1d10 ⇒ 6

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Knowledge (nature): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Willow, using her knowledge of the root looks to the group and simply gives a nod as her way to say that it is safe to take.
"Dromutu. I've seen it, but never tried it." she simply says before she gives a deep sigh, closing her eyes as she is clearly trying to clear her mind and then starts to chew on it and not resisting any effects that come her way.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

sorry it didn't update for me.

Willow waits away from the group, knowing that the Tempest didn't want her nearby and she didn't wish to cause any trouble for the group. However with the tempest asking for her to join she complies quietly, not needing to be told twice to sit down.

Having her face painting wasn't something strange to Willow. She had seen many tribes painting their faces beofore battle with mundane pain and some magical. All of it giving them a blessing. She was however, curious what the paint was for, but decided against opening her mouth.

and I just remembered how it said the pagans made their war paint. Ewww.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow looks to the creature and then Ambroze and back mulling over the scenery. This creature was one of many beautiful gifts of nature and she thought she would never see such beauty. She remains silent as she looks up at the bird.

Torag's balls....

He drinks a potion of cure light wounds 1d8 + 1

Willow nods as she brings out her wand.

"thank you for the healing Abroze. I also have my wand here to help if anyone else is still wounded." she states as she points the wand to herself and her wounds begin to knit themselves back together and the blood to retract out of her clothing and back into her body as if it had never been spilt in the first place. She looks better, though still a little wounded, however most of the wounds appear to be superficial.

CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Ambroze wrote:

Willow Certainly needs it :p

Edit: 14/33hp to be exact.

Channel Energy 2d6
Channel Energy 2d6
Channel Energy 2d6

Anyone need more?

Thanks, that brings willow to 32/33. She'll recover the last one with rest though.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow will also step over to the creature and say a prayer to the thing, placing her hand on it's forehead and closing it's eyelids with her fingers, moving the hand down as she closes her eyes and mutters this deep prayer.

Afterwards she looks to the group.
"I have never faced one of these in the past and I don't care to face another one, unless you are all by my side." as she says this she looks over the body and removes a scale before moving over to a patch of open ground. "I cannot bury it's body, but I can atleast bury one of it's scales." she digs a small hole and places the scale in it, covering it and saying another prayer infront of this small burial.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

The Centipede takes a bite at the drake, however it completely misses.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Summon nature's Ally finishes as a Giant Centipede appears at J1 and attacks.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 plus DC 15 Fort save or lose 1d3 ⇒ 2 Dex

Willow, having no spells, moves to F0 and uses another buffet of storms to slam into the sea drake.

ranged touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22

non-leathal damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Reflex: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 4 + 2 = 23

Willow begins summoning once again, spending her time in an attempt to summon a creature of nature.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Yup, still delaying until this ugly beast shows it's head.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow takes the advice and moves to the east (C2) and leaning against the rock, waiting for the creature to emerge.

Delay until the creature shows itself.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne wrote:
Sorry to overrule you but you have no idea if the whirlwind disperses as no one has line of sight on it ;). Tun'ada is to the north, in the same position as the last map update. You taking any further actions?

nope. I'll head to Ambroze instead and support him with the spell casting, in case that drake emerges again.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Knowledge Nature DC 16 1d20 + 9 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 4 = 17

Willow hearing this looks up to the mist.

Auran:

"End the whirlwind, it will disperse the mist."

The Whirlwind disperses and the mist does not appear to shift from it's current location.

Edit: Willow will take a step out of the obscuring mist and search around the ouside for Tun'ada.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

At the end of Willow's casting a elemental made of wind appears directly beneith the drake but 10ft below (10ft up from J6) and as it comes into being it turns into a whirlwind, attempting to disrupt the creature's flying and catch it in the winds.

don't forget, the small elemental is augmented by augmented summoning feat.

Reflex save at DC 14 or take 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5 damage as if slammed by the elemental.

Then make another Reflex save at DC 14 or be sucked into the whirlwind.

Willow then moves closer to the thing (J5) in an attempt to knock it out of the sky with one of her storm bursts.

Ranged Touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

non-leathal damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow having limited spell powers channels one of her prepared spells into a summon, calling a creature of nature to fight this creature.

Marcus Alanto wrote:
Gods dammnit what are you thinking?! We need this man and you seem to be doing everything possible to set him against us. What are you seeking to achieve?
Tsura leans in as well. "Willow, you are a dear. But from now on, let's stick to our strengths. Okay, darling? I would hate to see something awful happen because someone became upset."

She gives a shrug but nods to the request.

"I remember my elder getting angry when I mentioned that, but I never understood why." she puts up her hands not understanding where he anger came from. "Maybe he's a vegeterian or something?"

Chi T'reignial wrote:

"No Willow, there have been enough needless and pointless deaths so far. This bird is likely not just vermin, but an intelligent creature, we should treat it with respect." Chi huffs her shoulders, sighs loudly at the woman's lack of compassion and walks away mumbling, resigned to the pathfinder's pick for their friend.

Sorry, post crossed with AK's we just had a powercut for an hour or so.

"Oh, no wonder I've not heard of such a beast, I've never taken to learning about the magical beasts." she seems to be in a thought for a moment and then looks back to the old man

Polyglot:

"I apologise for the statement, I still have much to learn concerning other people and intelligent beings. We will bring back the feather, Tempest"

With that she awaits for the group to leave, feeling uncomfortable by being stared at by this old man.

Lol, scenes like that are certainly enjoyable. :p I hope I didn't cause too many heart attacks.

DM Alexander Kilcoyne wrote:

The Tempest snorted in contempt at Marcus and ignored Ambroze- which was a more pleasant treatment by far and perhaps a sign his respect was noted.

No sea hags round here for dozens of miles around. I'd know, if there was. More likely you ran into a merfolk, or perhaps a kelpie.

Nkechi took the Black Pearl with great scepticism and muttered something about verifying its authenticity with Gozreh as he walked off into his sea cave. A short time later he returned, without the pearl.

Perhaps you are not the bumbling buffoons I had been led to believe. You might simply be a little slow instead.

Nkechi presented the second task in his usual, irritated sounding voice.

The task of wind is a simple one. All Gozreh requires is a single complete feather from a humble Stormbird. One such magnificent creature, named Chirok, lives but a day’s walk east. There, at the end of a peninsula, you’ll spot a lone promontory known as Gozreh’s Crest. The bird nests at the top of the cliff. Return when you have a feather.

550XP each (includes a Story Award)

Willow grips her fists at his mention of them being bumbling buffoons, but holds her tongue until he speaks about getting a feather from a Stormbird.

"Would it not be simpler merely to kill it instead of steal a feather? I've found that some birds taste very good when cooked in a pot or on a spit." she states, not knowing a thing about this creature that he mentioned.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

Willow, knowing the dislike this man has for her keeps her mouth shut and allowing someone else to get the first word out since she knows she might cost the group an ally.

Female Half-elf Druid (Jungle Druid)/4th

"Now we can get the pearl to that old coot. I hope his next test will not take too long." she statesclearly wanting to get starting this this adventure, though she seems much happier that her bare feet are touching soil again once on shore.
