About Vosten
Named after the Taldan cleric who years ago was martyred for Sarenrae in Magnimar. The shrine to Sarenrae, that Vosten the Martyr built, still stands in the Underbridge district of Magnimar (see Campaign Setting book - Magnimar, City of Monuments). Your parents, following in the footsteps of Vosten the Martyr, moved to Magnimar and operate a mission and a house of healing in the Ordellia district of Magnimar (near Billivin's Benevolent Balms). Knowing the possible danger of living in a big city like Magnimar, your parents always had you wear armor (even as a child). Because of this, you are now comfortable wearing armor and reduce any armor check penalty by one (Armor Expert trait). Also, you have helped your parents with the mission and caring for the sick. You gain a +1 to Heal checks (Caretaker trait).
