So I'm building a wizard and starting off at a higher level. I would stick pure wizard, but some of my levels are like bonus levels that I have to invest in something other than my main class, so I wanted to put those in either bloodmage or cyphermage, since they continue my spellcasting progression without any hiccups.

Wondering which is better..

I'm currently a level 6 wizard with 3 bonus levels. Picked conjuration(teleportation) as my school. The DM said I am fine to ignore the corpulence ability in bloodmage if I pick it. I have 3 +ac items so I would probably take his offer if I went that way.

So that means bloodmage would for the most part only give me extra spell slots. I think i'd be too chicken to use the bloodsurge on fear of flipping out.

Cyphermage has nothing crazy good as far as i can tell, but some useful stuff like the free scrolls.

Any opinions?

Edit: Also I don't need to meet the feat or skill requirements for the bonus levels
