About Vokrin

Vokrin is a tiefling, and as is evident from his appearance he bears the blood of the Rakshasa. This singular fact has carved its way through his life from the very beginning, and to this day holds great sway over his goals.

Born in an act that would take his mother's life, Vokrin was left without parentage as his father was long since gone, thankfully destroyed and on his next life. Orphaned, he was taken in by a temple. The temple he was first in makes little difference, they were a good enough people and they taught him, but as he grew and learned more of what he was he gained a particular goal. He was cursed with this appearance, cursed to never know love or family. Everyone who saw him knew he was not normal, not human (or any other standard race), and presumed him to be evil. He would not be, however. What he would be is dogged, determined, relentless, and a number of other words which have surely been said at some point regarding his sole life goal. He wants to stop the cycle of reincarnation for the Rakshasa.

To that end, he made his way to a temple of Pharasma. Pharasma is concerned with the cycle of rebirth, and in strictest fashion wants it to continue. Vokrin is a bit of a heretic in that he wants to end it. This is of course a rather secret ambition, as if it were public he would likely be excommunicated. As it stands, he simply appears as a staunch devotee of the finality of death and an opponent of undeath in all its forms.

Vokrin seems quite reserved in public company, keeping his emotions for those exceedingly few friends he has. Emotions are a weapon, and if you hand a weapon to others they can use it against you. People expect a Pharasmin priest to be reserved, so it doesn't tend to impact him. Little do most know that the followers of the Lady of Graves are generally a festive lot. Life is to be celebrated, even as it ends.

Vokrin has traveled to Wati to support the faith's opening of the Necropolis.
