Bestial The orc blood of some half-orcs manifests in the form of particularly prominent orc features, exacerbating their bestial appearances but improving their already keen senses. They gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks. This racial trait replaces the orc ferocity racial trait.
Chain Fighter Some half-orcs have escaped from slavery and reforged the chains of their imprisonment into deadly weapons. Half-orcs with this racial trait are proficient with flails and heavy flails, and treat dire flails and spiked chains as martial weapons. This trait replaces the weapon familiarity racial trait.
Intimidating (Ex) Half-orc receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate skill checks due to their fearsome nature.
Orc Blood (Ex) Half-orc count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.
Track (Ex) You gain +1 to Survival checks made to follow or identify tracks.
Wild Empathy (Ex) You can improve the attitude of an animal. This abilty functions just like Diplomacy check made to improve the attitude of a person. You roll 1d20+1 to determine the Wild Empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly. To use Wild Empathy, you and the animal must be within 30 feet of one another under normal circumstances. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but as with influencing people, it might take more or less time. You can use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intellegence score of 1 or 2, but you take a -4 penalty on the check.
Chance Survivor: +2 initiative
Tusked: Huge, sharp tusks bulge from your mouth,
and you receive a bite attack (1d4 damage for Medium
characters). If used as part of a full attack action, the bite
attack is made at your full base attack bonus –5.
Backstory:
In a nutshell (due to a forum error) Virgil was birthed from the union of a female human werewolf and a male half orc. Bandits attacked their house and took Virgil to be their "pet" after killing his parents.
Most of the bandits left for a raid, leaving a few other bandits, Virgil and Virgils trainer. Virgil kills the bandits, but leaves the trainer alive because the trainer was "just so nice". Rest of bandits get home, find the ruins of their camp and the trainer alone alive.
Trainer is found several months later in a child's coffin with his arms and legs removed, traitor branded into his forehead and an Ion stone of substance keeping him free of hunger and thirst as well as preventing him from just trying to sleep.
Virgil is found by the professor, and slowly is brought back into society of civil men. He is named Virgil in a naming ceremony when he gains his citizenship (his odd wolfish appearance excused by the professor as a newly awakened animal)
He gains The Seeker, as his lycan and orc blood increased his senses far beyond that of normal men.
