Backstory:
Venetia Castlemaigne is a lie, a mask used to deceive others. Her real name is a memory left to die in the streets of Oppara. Yet, Venetia someday hoped to reclaim that name and the honor owed to it. The deceiver, Maximilar Pythareus, and his cohorts would pay with blood.
Her family left Oppara in shame, but Venetia remained. She honed her social skills, eschewed her old friendships and trained in the deadly arts to become a weapon of vengeance. Not knowing who she could trust, Venetia began to worship Calistria. Seeing the goddess as her only trustworthy companion, the young slayer has felt a divine power protecting her in her quest.
She cares only for uncovering the truth and the restoration of her family. Venetia also has a dim view of men, given the circumstances of her family's ruin. At 5'1" and 125 lbs, Venetia does her best to appear as a typical Taldan, blending in rather than standing out.
