Even one who has nothing can still offer his life.
When this character burns Fate threshold to survive a lethal injury, roll 1d10. On a
result of 10, he survives whatever grievous wound would have killed him but does
not reduce his Fate threshold.
You can do 2 swaps by the looks of it.

Hmm, very well rounded.
That could work. Do we have a serious contender for a gm? Maybe Evindyll???
This seems interesting, would we necessarily need to be a descendent of a god? Could we be like a modern witch, maybe a descendent of Morgan le Fay or something like that?

Noice.
Actually going to switch to submitting Numi. I know its last minute but the crunch part is finished and I'll try and finish the 20 questions before the end of day.
Are we allowed to take a drawback to gain another trait?
I was thinking of a paladin of Sarenrae, who's big on redemption.
A couple reasons. NG just fits the character concept I have better. And with the other class line, I'd like to eventually get the arcane trickster prestige class but that has a prerequisite of being non-lawful. So something would have to budge and as I said NG fits the character better. But if the GM doesn't want to allow it, I guess I'll just have to come up with something else.
Would you allow a paladin of NG alignment rather than LG?
Botting Petyr
Dashing forwards Petyr charges the first stirge he spots, thrusting his rapier at the hovering bug.
Petyr charges and makes an attack against the bottom right stirge attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
I'd like to join with a kitsune arcanist. Basic idea is they are fleeing the law and hoping to lie low in Caldova. I've got a mostly done character sheet here.
I might be interested in this, if you're still planning on a fantasy Atlantis.
I'll be applying with Alijse. I've done the crunch for both her and her animal companion, I just need to write down her background.
I'll be submitting Tariina. I've finished the crunch but I still have to finish the fluff.
Would we be allowed to use the Variant Multiclass rules? If you're unfamiliar with it, it basically allows you to trade away half your feats for some limited class features from a second class.
I was thinking of making a cleric of Eilistraee with some bard flavouring.
What domains would a follower of Eilistraee have access to?
Are we using the elephant in the room feat tax rules?
RIZZENMAGNUS wrote: You have discord, neari? I have a discord server for this game thats used for discussions and just friendly banter Yeah my username is vee_gees
Yea still here. Did you need something?
Thinking more about it I think I'm going to go ahead and apply with Neari. She's mostly done and I'll try to finish her off in the next few days. Any idea how long recruitment will be open for?
I have a couple of characters I could make work with this. I still need to write up the fluff for them and maybe spend the remaining gold but most of their stats are done.
Vyki is a halfling unchained monk (disciple of wholeness) who'll go into "fighting defensively" feats (like crane style) to become quite tanky.
Neari is an elf cleric of Sarenrae, who'll start taking levels in Dawnflower Anchorite later on.
With the 2 traits we get, are you requiring one of them to be one of the campaign traits?
Are you guys using the elephant in the room feat tax rules?
I'm waiting to see if I get in another group and they've just said they might not have a decision till the 10th. I can't really commit to this game till then and it doesn't sound like you want to wait that long so I'm going to have to drop out.
5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 4, 1, 2) = 16 15

5d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 5, 2) = 15 13
5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 3, 2) = 13 12
5d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 1, 4) = 20 19
Most people would have assumed that 1 post a day would come into affect after they've made their character and been formally accepted into the game. That's how it usually works.

I'm thinking of playing a rogue who starts out as a mercenary, not really caring about the cause, just in it for the money. At first.
I don't think you understood my question.
The way you've set it up anyone who takes any monstrous HD will fall behind in terms of spellcasting compared to people who took templates. I'm wondering if we can remedy this so that people who want to play casters don't feel forced into taking the template options?
GM Wolf wrote: Well at this rate and no posts from any players I feel like I might scrap the campaign. People are probably still making characters.
Would there be a way for us to be a 2HD monster but still get 7 levels in 1 class?
I want a way to play a pseudodragon sorcerer or arcanist but I don't want my spellcasting to fall behind. Maybe I get 4 levels in a singular class and 3 gestalt levels? Or something like that? What are your thoughts/ideas?
Thankfully this campaign starts with a long social/intrigue plot before getting into any combat, if I'm remembering correctly. I've played the 1st book and a bit of the 2nd book but that was before covid so the details are a little foggy.

WotC? Do you mean WftC? War For the Crown.
If so you can find the traits on Nethys here.
And the full player's guide here.
Yennifer?! Morganne calls out and starts running down the catwalk, searching the gaggle of children for her ward. Is there a Yennifer here?
I've fixed the crunch in Kiya's profile so that's ready for you to review. But I'm still rewriting the fluff as I didn't have that saved anywhere else. I remember it for the most part so it'll be the same as what I had before, just different wording.
Dammit just realised I accidentally copied my second character over my first one, I'll have to fix that up.
I think I'll just stick with my first character idea Kiya.
Hearing the thud of someone hitting the floor Morganne turns to see Laijiri on the floor. After a moment of panic, she sees that he is still alive and casts her healing magic on him.
She uses the 2-action heal spell, healing Laijiri 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 hit points.

In a way anybody from 40k would be interesting. Having to interact with everyone from universes where magic isn't inherently dangerous.
Guardsmen sees a tiefling. "Why is nobody else freaking out!"
Yeah I'm going to pull out. My character doesn't quite fit in with the coterie.
Wish you all a fun time.
I want to use the blossoming light and sphere cleric archetypes together but they both replace domain spells.
Would it cost just one feat to ignore the sphere cleric's instance of this replacement?
