About Valgar Greyheart
Valgar is a proud and cantankerous dwarf known primarily for his surly disposition and unfriendly nature. He rarely speaks without offering insult or complaint and never does anything that doesn't in some way benefit himself. He's also been known to cheat at games. Though most can't stand his unfriendly nature, those that learn to tolerate it find that they couldn't have a more loyal companion.
Valgar ultimately joined the Pathfinder Society full-time for no other reason than the fact that they were the only organization willing to take someone with such a dour temperament. It is Valgar's hope that he will find a grand treasure and be able to retire to a life of leisure early in his career. Much to the chagrin of his companions, the many hazards and dangers he faces in the meantime only serve to fuel his grumbling complaints about the unfairness of life.
Valgar possesses a perpetual scowl and squinted eyes, long red hair tucked under his cap, bushy eybrows, and visible horsehair that gives him an even more gravelly voice than is typical for dwarves. Unlike most dwarves, Valgar's chin is beardless, but his upper lip boasts a rather extravagant mustache. Valgar's mustache is his pride and joy, and he will clock anyone who dares insult or undervalue its majesty. Similarly, Valgar's lack of a beard is a sore subject which he refuses to elaborate upon, and which is often met with violence as well.
During combat, Valgar often summons rocks into his sling, so as to avoid drawing unnecessary attention to his unusual geokinetic powers. Particularly astute observers might take note that Valgar never actually loads his sling, however. When not concerned about concealing his powers, Valgar will often summon mustache-shaped boomerang-like stones or eyebrow-shaped stone darts to his hand for throwing at his enemies.
