About Uthsa Malevoli
Uthsa was married and expecting her first child when she started having horrific visions of twisted monsters and a jackal headed woman who scratched at unborn child. She kept these visions secret, but when her child was still-born, it was heavily malformed. Her husband disowned her, her family turned on her, and she found herself an outcast... alone in the wilderness, her depression and self-loathing reached a fever pitch- a fever which broke with insanity.
Uthsa became convinced she was meant to serve Lamashtu- the dark mother who reached into her womb and fouled her unborn child. If she could only earn the dark mother's approval, she might have a chance to live a "normal" life... she sought out a gnoll tribe and apprenticed herself to a priestess of Lamashtu there. She lived with the gnolls for five years until the night the dark mother appeared to her in fever dreams. "Seek out the Pathfinder Society and conceal yourself amoungst them." she was told.
