Is this AP any good for Medium-sized mounted characters? I took a peek at the maps in the first book. There's a fair amount of outside areas but also a few that will not fit a charging horse. It might be better than most for such a character. ** spoiler omitted ** I had a similar experience as well.

There are some cool zombie pics too!

By the bye we have
Warpriest - Maraxus
Paladin - Orladans
Cleric - Mustafa
Hunter - Eladorn
Occultist - Ylosani
So we should only need 1 more recruit? Or were we going to roll with 7?

Its almost like we got killed by a necromancer and had no divine help... :)
Zombie Chow
I played a melee hunter in PFS briefly, pretty fun with a wolf and a spear.
Amusing, assuming you go hunter, that we replace our conspicuously non divine group with a hunter, cleric, warpriest and paladin.
Bring on the holy power!

Concur.
Or, I suppose at this point...
Brrrraaaaaaiiiinnnnnnssss
(I have a mercenary warpriest of Gorum, who swings a mean Lucerne hammer, queued up and ready to rock. Since we never made it to a chronicle I assume we can just recycle our PFS ID again?)
Zombie Chow
No, that's not gonna work.
Back to warpriest
Zombie Chow
Scratch, gonna go Yojimbo Samurai.
If someone wants, we can work out that he's bodyguarding another PC, or the mayor lady can just have hired him to check out the disturbance.
Hopefully I can get him built when my son takes his nap this afternoon.
Zombie Chow
I think I will go warpriest, we are just rerolling on the same PFS # right?
Zombie Chow
Pretty sure you too a 6 damage sling stone last round (not that it really matters in a zombie dogpile)

Orladan, The Taker Of Life wrote: ulric a warpriest is another option Indeed, I have considered it. I mostly have had a habit of playing 3/4 BAB hybrid classes (primarily bards and magus) so I had been focused on full BAB classes to try.
My Cav and Paladin are still lvl 1 PFS and my Bloodrager has Oracle levels as well.
Zombie Chow
Ok, that's fun then.
I'm at a small impasse for a martial, I had thought Paladin but Orladan has got that covered and I'm currently running a cav, bloodrager, and paladin. Not really wanting to go ranger/swash/stalkee/brawler.
I might just go plain old fighter.
Choices choices
Edit: leaning towards another bloodrager
Zombie Chow
Im in for sure, either thinking another martial (if needed) or I have a Gun Tank switch hitter idea rollin in my brain.
Even could go cleric if needed, I'm pretty flexible.
Zombie Chow
I did not intend my comment as conplaint or criticism, just observation.
This time of year, especially, is slow.
I hope your new job slows down and works our for you! I went through a few years where it seemed like I was starting a new job or position every month (Hazards of moving across the country and rapid promotions) and it sure can be a handful!
Being a stay at home dad for a toddler gives me lots of time to post but many days I miss a nice, relaxing, 60 hour work week.
Zombie Chow
This game has been running pretty slow of late. We've been in this recent combat (4 rounds) for a month now.
Zombie Chow
Nice thing is we can rejigger our party to be a bit more balanced, some real frontliners and a healer perhaps.
Zombie Chow
I believe the GM to resolve Nox getting pasted is the next step.
Zombie Chow
Seems to me a tactical advance to the rear might be you all's best bet.
I bet if you run back to town, some reinforcements might be conveniently hanging about :)
Or to quote Monty Pythons Holy Grail... "run away!"
Zombie Chow
Good luck on the new job!
Zombie Chow
Poor Nox. TPK, or at least closeto feels inevitable if y'all don't retteat, unless Ylosani can ice that Cleric ASAP

"URK!" is all Ulric can manage.
Zombie Chow
A good wand roll and you could get Ulric back up!
A cleric channeling positive would have really be nice in this situation.
But TPK, assuming we can toss together a second party will be fun too.
"We want you to go in to get the guys, who went in to get the guys, who went in to get the guys. You're the best of what's left"
Zombie Chow
"URK!"
Ulric collapses, frozen and slashed badly. His body hits the floor and starts making a bloody mess.
Stabilise: 1d20 + 2 - 6 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 6 = 14
Zombie Chow
I'll do some plotting. Though we may be rolling a whole new party momentarily...
Zombie Chow
Zombie Chow
When we hit a good break (chronicle perhaps?) Point I would like to rework Ulric into a more tanky class, maybe a paladin or fighter. We have enough magic, and the rage song isn't that great with this group.
If possible, of course.
Zombie Chow
ill stick. Dont feel right negating a dumb miss like that. Hope nox is handy with her wand
Zombie Chow
I can fall back through my team correct? If so I'd use my move to withdraw, else Im down next turn
Zombie Chow
Ulric roars in pain as the cold bites into him. Battling through the pain, he hacks at the enemy in front of him.
Looks like he's stuck in the hall, with nowhere to go.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 cold iron
Zombie Chow
Bones and Ice? That doesn't sound ominous at all...

Zombie Chow
Ulric heads over and up the stairs with Orladan, straining his ears to hear any enemies atop the steps.
Perceptuon: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Crap, that's 3 non combat nat 20s in a row across my games. Be ready for a bunch of combat misses incoming!
Zombie Chow
Ulric can detect magic, though I'm not sure I have ranks in spellcraft
Zombie Chow
Ulric glances longingly at the stewpot, but returns to the main abattoir.
Nodding to the witch, he adds, "Check upstairs first, then see if this place has a basement."
Zombie Chow
Ulric nods and rotates his blade to index the flat side forward, to indicate his will to use nonlethal attacks and moves to the door.
When he gets in place he waits for Tchort to turn the knob before he pushes through, shield first.
Tchort, can ya move my icon through the door you saw the guy in?
Zombie Chow
Ulric watches the strange woman start dismembering bodies, and chimes in.
"I think there are still folk upstairs. Perhaps we should clear the house first before we worey about that?"
Strange folk I am with, and to think I spent my youth thinking I was the sttange one in this world. Guess I'm more normal than I thought.
Zombie Chow
Ulric's savage grin fades as he sees the last body drop. Panting from the run around the house and the intense battle, he winces as the pain from his cut, mostly healed, made itself known.
Shaking the worst of the gore from his longsword, he gingerly steps over the pile of corpses at his feet, poking through the bodies as he looks over the room, a eye to the doorways and stairwell.
Seeing Nox approach, he smiles at her and responds, "I don't know who these folk are, apart from hostile... and dead. I thought I heard movement upstairs, perhaps these are the group responsible for the kidnap, though I saw no evidence of ice magic."
Zombie Chow
Ulric grins savagely as he catches the sword blade on his shield, feeling his wound continue to close under the impetus of his savage chant.
Barking out the words of his chant, he cuts at his antagonist.
Attack Purple: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 5 + 1 = 15
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 8
AC 18, Fast Heal 2, HP 8/11
Zombie Chow
some impressive rolls to start this round...
Zombie Chow
heal 2 hp from Fast Heal
Roaring in rage as one of the bandits managed to get a cut through his defenses, Ulric countercuts even as the wound begins to heal under the influence of his raging song.
Attack Yellow: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 5 + 1 = 7
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 13
AC 18, Fast Heal 2, HP 6/11
Zombie Chow
Ulric continues his ferocious chant, increasing in volume as the warrior goes down. He cuts at the mook in front of him blue .
Attack Blue: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 5 + 1 = 26
Confirm: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 1 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7
Crit Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 = 11
AC 18, Fast Heal 2 HP 11/11
Zombie Chow
We bought a group CLW wand that... nox I believe is carrying.
Zombie Chow
GM posted a couple hours ago, but Im not sure who got critted/damaged

Zombie Chow
Hope so, many unidentified mooks still need to be sworded to death ASAP.
Zombie Chow
Growling in frustration at missing his swing, Ulric gathers himself and cuts again. Attack, I'm Ron Burgandy?
Attack Ron Burgandy: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 = 7
AC 18, Fast heal 2
Zombie Chow
Continuing his raging son, Ulric raps his sword blade against his shield and stomps forward, aiming a slash at a bandit.
burgandy? Im colorblind, so red guy in front of ulric
Attack: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 + 1 = 10
Damage: 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10
AC 18, Fast healing 2
Zombie Chow
Don't forget you can take the raging song for +2 STR/CON, +1 Will and -1 AC
Zombie Chow
Well, not ideal but if Orladan assaults through the doorway, Ulric can pull up beside and we should be unflankable. Unless ya got a better idea.
A sleep spell, my kingdom for a sleep spell. Or fireball.
Zombie Chow
Where are we at right now? GM NPCs turn? I R Confused
