What's the plan for the loot? Turngut doesn't need anything on that list. I say, take whatever you want and then let's see if Poppo can sell the rest with some "help" from Turngut. Or maybe Bobie has an "in" with that magic saleswoman and can get a good deal?? Woo woo!
Also - how are we doing hit points for leveling up? I'm excited for level 2 - Brawler Flurry!!
The bolt wizzes by the mugger. After being attacked by the little gnome, the mugger decides that he wants to take her out after all. The elderly couple isn't walking that fast, so he can get two marks tonight!
Sap: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (12) + 0 = 12
Another miss! BArboo is up
Hearing Barboo's honeyed words, the Mugger comes up short and looks a bit confused. He looks from Barboo to the elderly couple and seems to be considering his options.
Mugger confused for one round. Right now, he doesn't attack this round, but is still unfriendly towards you (down from hostile). You are up!
As Barboo tries to swing at him, the mugger stabs down at her (Attack of Opportunity)
Then he winds up and stabs at her again.
Dagger: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
The second swing connects, but only barely scraps her.
Barboo is up!
Barboo walks into a deserted alleyway and is jumped by a would-be mugger. Roll for initiative!
Mugger is up first. He lunges at Barboo with his dagger. Gimmie yer purse little lady and this will be all over soon.
Dagger: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
He nearly trips over his own feet as he tries to stab Barboo, his dagger swings wildly wide of Barboo.
Thanks David! Interesting play and cool rewards/boons. I think Matt might have wanted to keep one of the eggs though. Cizish doesn't have an animal companion as a Sky Druid, but Matt had mentioned keeping one as a companion and we may have not had the chance for him to role play that out.
I fully agree, David. After GMing the first part, I felt like I had a lot more flexibility with my monsters. There were more options to move or stay and fight depending on the type of creature. A big, beefy dude would try and corner you to get all 3 attacks in, whereas a smaller faster creature might move, hit, then move away.
Because of my investment in the 1.0 system (ie HeroLab, books, APs, etc) I'm dreading the fact that I seem to be enjoying 2.0 more than I wanted. Don't get me wrong, I like the change and would move forward with it, but when I look at my shelf full of books and unused adventures, I was hoping that I'd have an easy choice of not liking 2.0. Maybe there will be some ways to adapt old APs to the new rule set??
Blimey! Master o' th' Game here wit' some details on yer loot. I enjoyed goin' through th' 1st book t' see all that ye've accomplished as a crew. So, without further ado, here's yer booty list! If yer scurvy quartermaster has additional loot, let me know.
I don't believe that you got anything more than your own loot back from these. There were 6 chests/trunks in the Quartermaster's Store and your personal gear was located there until Tyrant befriended Cut-Throat. There were some other things as well, but I don't recall that you stole any. If that's different, let me know.
Attack on the Man's Promise:
Each PC got 150gp. Boarding Pike of Repelling for defeating officer. Whoever warned Captain Harrigan before he was stabbed in back receives an amulet of natural armor. (If you killed the would-be stabber, you also get another item, but I don't believe that happened). For each sailor that you killed as a party, you receive 25gp to divide up. My total for that was 275gp to split.
Potion CMW, 6 flasks alchemist's fire, mwk dagger, leather flask (25gp), 2 vials cheap perfume (25gp ea), wedding dress (400gp), 12 silver hatpins (5gp ea), gems (250gp total), 56gp.

Vine Choker Lair:
Potion of Water Breathing, 5 silver shoe buckles (5gp ea), wedding ring (still on a ghoul finger) (50gp), silver hatpin (5gp).
Location: up in tree above stockade. I can't remember if you found this stuff. I'll trust you (the players, not the lyin' PCs) to take the loot only if you found it.
Besmara's Tricorne (Sandara's hat), 5 silver buttons (2gp ea), Anchor Feather Token, Bracers of Archery, Lesser, Scrimshawed shark skull (250gp), Wand of Mirror Image, walrus tusk (400gp), harp made from an orca jaw (500gp), 120gp.

You also get 2 POINTS of PLUNDER. This is the trading goods that Mr Plugg had in the hold of the Man’s Promise. Likely to be used to trade/barter for the squibbing job.
I'm prepping for Origins and want to be sure to have Crugeon available for that. Plus, I have a druid that would be interesting to try in a PbP. I'm not as comfortable with my druid's abilities, so the slower play of online would be helpful. So.. Without further ado - Cizish Windwalker!
Hey everyone, Matt and Tina are over in Cornwall, England right now <envious>. Since Matt may have spotty internet access and should be paying more attention to his awesome trip, we may need to slow down play until he returns in the middle of next week. I posted my actions for the first round of combat, but once we all do that, if Matt doesn't post, we can hold off until he does.
@Matt - looking forward to pictures and stories of fun adventures. Hope the fish&chips are the best!!
