Quincon 28 is the premier gaming event in Western Illinois. The location draws gamers from Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. It will be held at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York, Quincy Illinois $15 preregistration (until July 12, 2013), $20 at the door.

Here are some of the highlights for PFS @ Quincon 28…

1. Want to play all weekend and get a character from 1st to 7th play Crypt of the EverFlame and Thornkeep all 5 levels !

2. Want to play the two faction retirement scenarios for Shadow Lodge (Rivalry's End) and Lantern Lodge (Way of Kirin) we have them and multiple slots of them so you can fit them into your gaming schedule.

3. Looking for a great multiple scenario story arc? Well, play The Disappeared, The Blakros Matrimony, The Fortress of the Nail and finish off with this years Exclusive Day of the Demon!

4. We will be running the Special "Year of the Shadow Lodge" on Saturday night for great multi-table fun!

Tonight I earned the title of Seeker :). Thanks to Brett, Kevin, Stephen, Brian, Nathan and all the other great GM's in St. Louis. So I "Seeker Myth Epicweaver the Risen" am off to Winter War for some great Seeker fun at Kyle's table. (Wonder what the over / under is on how many times I will die)

I understand that both get the remote hacking takes 1 full round action per computer tier so the ability to hack twice in one round at range is useful particularly for avoiding traps. I meant this more out of combat then in. If your drone walks up to a computer and starts hacking it, it is very noticeable. If you use your remote hack ability then you'd need a pretty decent bluff to hide that your hacking, which is not a class skill. My exocortex on the other hand does not. I could literally have a conversion with the guard while hacking his terminal. I think drone is better in combat, exo is better out of combat. Though in the mid to high levels I don't think the exo can keep up with the drones sheer adaptability.

The greatest weakness of the drone is that you need to be conscious to control it and you're pretty weak.
