In the most recent version of the FAQ (viewed 4/25/2014), in the section regarding multiple uses of the Belt of Incredible Dexterity, it states:

Quote:
So you cannot reveal a single Belt of Incredible Dexterity twice to add 2 to your Dexterity check, but you could reveal two copies once each;

However, on p.15 of the rulebook it states:

Quote:
Each player may play only one of each type of boon on a single check.

Was this (yet another) oversight? I don't have the card handy, so perhaps the card text overrides the basic rule?

This was an interesting question posted on the BGG forum for this game so I thought I'd post it here for discussion:

The Sandpoint Cathedral location closing action states "When Closing: Banish either a blessing or Father Zantus."

The Town Square location closing action states "Banish a card from your hand."

My initial assumption was that all banished cards come from your hand, however after scanning the FAQ and rule book, nothing specifically states they MUST come from the hand (except for cards that specify, obviously).

So can players choose cards from their discard pile to banish instead of their hand? It would seem, since all cards in-hand and in-discard are your combined life points, that taking them from either is an equivalent loss of "HP". Then again, there may be an obvious rule that clarifies this and I just missed it.

Thoughts?
