About Tiberius "Tibs" Carn

Five Things About Your Concept & Background
1) Tibs is the son of a smuggler with Rebel Alliance ties that was killed during a raid on a meeting by Officer Nadia Vrei. She was burned by a blaster shot from Tibs when trying to apprehend him.
2) He is helpful and cooperative, preferring to use social skills before violence. Whenever able, he tries to stun his enemies than kill them. When push comes to shove or when trying to defend a friend, he doesn’t shy away from violence.
3) He has travelled quite a bit as a young boy upon a smuggler’s vessel and is decently known through most of the “usual” places for their kind to gather. Most, out of respect to his father or out of liking of the young man, do not alert the Imperials or try to collect his bounty.
4) Most of his father’s crew was captured by the Imperials and, if he has the chance to save them, he will try. He will also go far and beyond to save someone from the Imperial’s clutches, even if they’re a rival of the group.
5) Despite his sober and tragic beginnings as a man on his own, Tiberius is excited for the future. He may bite off more than he can chew or make some naïve decisions occasionally on behalf of the crew. However, he’ll learn from them and never try to push his mistakes off on someone else.

Two Goals
1) I would like to see the Rebel Alliance try and reach out towards Tiberius and try to recruit him and the crew into their missions. This will be a bit tense since he does partly blame them for having the mole that led to his father being killed.
2) It would be great to have Office Vrei be a foil occasionally for the group. She is dedicated on ruining Tibs and will happily target those that take him onto their ships and refuse to give him up.

Secrets
1) Tiberius was there when the crew of the Millenium Falcon arrived. It was here that he heard the tale of the Star Prison escape and learned not just the details, but the other ways that Han Solo would do it now since they remodeled it.
2) Tibs is right that there was a mole but he is wrong about what side it was. Narom Nemur, the Bith co-pilot, was the one who ratted out the meeting for the Imperials.

Relationships
1) Xigg Dac, the former gunner/bodyguard of Tib’s father’s ship, is a friend and comrade of the young human. He has almost a strict uncle mindset and tests the young man’s combat skills whenever they meet. More often than not, Tibs leaves with a smile on his newly bruised face. Xigg is an excellent combatant and will be more than willing to be fire support if his “nephew” needs it.
2) Arruna Komad was a flash in the pan lover of Tib’s when his father’s ship was stationed at Nar Shadaa. The young man was completely enamored by her and, when she was being hassled by Black Sun criminals, he stood up for her. Their relationship started while she was taking care of his battered frame. They went their separate ways and Tibs still thinks of her fondly from time to time. He has no idea if she does the same. If they should meet again, Arruna has been traveling the galaxy as a dancer and has connections and knowledge that Tibs would normally never be able to get his hands on.
3) Korin Benwoo is a slicer that Tibs met on a job before he joined this current crew. The two of them had gotten along but Korin was quite the greedy fellow. He had stashed away stolen credits and even offered to share them with Tibs as a friend. Tibs’ strange sense of smuggling honor, however, led him to telling the crew about the hoarded money. This led to more of Korin’s stolen property to be found and him being kicked from the crew. Korin is an excellent slicer but hates Tibs with a passion. If he could make it up to him, Tibs would have quite the slicer on his side.

Memories
1) The strongest memories that Tibs has is of being on his father’s ship, Black Autumn, and exploring all the hidden nooks and crannies.
2) The memory of the Imperial ambush has burned itself into Tibs’ mind and he could never, ever forget watching his father pass away in his arms.
3) Tibs remembers the first time that he jumped on the ship. The calculations to set for astrogation, that lurch within the ship as it jumped into hyperdrive. Nothing feels better than being on the move and on the ship.
