Thion was a young, up and coming senator from Corellia. When the senate was dissolved he was shocked, but when he heard about what happened to Alderaan he was absolutely horrified. He began to spread dissent on Corellia and somehow wound up involved in a terrorist group, planning an attack on one of the tie fighter shipyards above his planet.
The attack didn't get far however. As the group were loading explosives into their space transport, Imperial Stormtroopers raided the landing bay. With the blaster fire flying this way and that Thion found himself diving behind some crates, luckily next to a maintenance hatch in the landing bay wall. He wasted no time but broke it open and made his escape, stowing away on another ship he managed to escape.
Now he knocks about on the Outer Rim laying low, while trying to make ends meet. He's trying to make contacts, help the weak and oppressed and quietly tries to rally support for the Rebellion.
Motivation: Cause:
Thion fights for the rights of the weak, oppressed and non human. Ever since the Galactic Senate was dissolved and Thion woke up to what the Empire really was Thion has been knocking about the planets of the Outer Rim trying to help those who need it and rally support for the Rebellion. One of his goals is to make contacts in the rebellion and join up.

Thion sometimes is overcome by guilt that he ran from the fight on Corellia, that he could have done more to fight the Empire from within the Senate, or that he could be doing more for "the people" now.
He has sworn an Oath to stand up for the weak or oppressed, to fight evil and avenge his resistance cell.
Though he's not exactly on the Empires most wanted list, he knows they most likely have his name, and perhaps holo footage of his involvement in the terrorist group on Corellia.
