About The Piper of Illmarsh
The original Piper of Illmarsh appears to have been reduced to a haunt occupying the west wing of Harrowstone's top-floor cell block. Manifesting as a sonorous dirge on the flute, the Piper's spirit attempts to paralyse its targets before a flock of spectral stirges descend upon the unfortunate victim.
Interestingly, the Piper's spirit appears to have lost none of its potency in terms of attracting and controlling real stirges, as well as the ghostly variety.
