About The Dragon Warrior

Appearance:
Lean and tall, this dragon knight's skin is as dark as the ebony cast of his ornate armor. His bright orange hair is swept upward, twisted into several points to resemble flame flowing from the open back of his dragoon helm. He is covered in glowing fire-ink tattoos, with his hands covered in roiling flames, and on his left shoulder, a golden dragon he claims whos blood flows through his veins.
He carries a flaming longspear he calls "Wisdom" with a snapping banner of a golden dragon on a red bordered black field. A pair wickedly curved daggers (that are actually wands) are stuffed into spring-loaded wrist sheaths. Crossed bandoliers bare a variety of vials and alchemical oddities.
Sitting atop his black backpack, a strange, tiny, dragon-like dinosaur lounges without a care in the world. When she is very still, Cinder's large wings look like they could actually belong to her master, along with her sinewy tail trailing down Nova's back. But in certain light the dragon is hardly there at all, like some half remembered dream of the dragoon she serves.
The dragon warrior rides a massive, armored black bison he calls Ember.
Demeanor:
While he puts on airs of being a valiant warrior, Nova is actually all caster at heart. He is obsessed with how his draconic and orc bloodlines combined to create such raging heat within him.
Background:
Born into slavery in the frosty northern lands of Irrisen, his parents were from the steamy jungles of the mwangi Expanse. When he was young, he escaped and made his way alone all the way across the inner sea. Many monsters saw his frail form as an easy meal, but Nova's inner flame made them think twice.
Tactics:
Thematically spinning his flaming spear as he asks if his enemies seek wisdom, Nova blows breath or roars over the 'flame' of the spear, sending out tremendous gouts of flame, far stronger than one of age should be able to. He never actually attacks with 'Wisdom', instead using it as a focus for his magic. Cinder often plays her tiny goblin spin drum, increasing the intensity of all fire around her companion.
