About Thailon

I am a fosterling known in some circles as a changeling. I was always looked upon with suspicion and distrust by my peers. A great storm had come, raining stones upon the ground. My parents an elderly couple found me shortly thereafter. I am elf by birth, but they knew I was sent from somewhere else. They kept this a secret from most. For they did not know if who it was that sent me. I have a diamond shaped amulet with a strange symbol upon it which I wear at all times. No one has ever been able to tell me what it means.

I grew up a normal though clumsy elf. Yet my gifts lay in other realms. Not as fast as most elves I could instead out run them. Taking joy in the solitude of the desert realm. My fortress upon which few others could tread.

Though clumsy by elven standards I did in time learn to hold my own. Magic the hearts blood of most elves however was far from my mind. Oh I was as smart as the others. I just could not stand the long hours of patient practice. I loved the exhilaration of more earthly pursuits. I was also strong. Stronger then most. It had been several generations since one of our land had the strength and fortitude to lift and use one of the ancient great blades. I excelled.

When my father died, I knew it was time to leave. My mother though old and barren had raised her only child and would not get another. She was happy and sent me off into the world to find my wyrd, my destiny for which I was born. For which I was sent here.

Traits
Killer: You made your first kill at a very young age and found the task of war or murder to your liking. You either take particular pride in a well-placed blow, or vile pleasure in such a strike as you twist the blade to maximize the pain. You deal additional damage equal to your weapon’s critical hit modifier when you score a successful critical hit with a weapon; this additional damage is added to the final total, and is not multiplied by the critical hit multiple itself. This extra damage is a trait bonus.
Bully: You grew up in an environment where the meek were ignored and you often had to resort to threats or violence to be heard. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Intimidate checks, and Intimidate is always a class skill for you.

Explorers outfit:This set of clothes is for someone who never knows what to expect. It includes sturdy boots,leather breeches, a belt, a shirt with a vest, gloves, and a cloak.
The clothes have plenty of pockets (especially the cloak). The outfit also includes a scarf and a wide-brimmed hat.

Half-Orc:

*+2 to One Ability Score: Half-orc characters get a +2 bonus to one ability score of their choice at creation to represent their varied nature.
*Medium: Half-orcs are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
*Normal Speed: Half-orcs have a base speed of 30 feet.
*Darkvision: Half-orcs can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
*Intimidating: Half-orcs receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidate skill checks due to their fearsome nature.
*Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.
*Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a half-orc is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, he can fight on for one more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately falls unconscious and begins dying.
*Weapon Familiarity: Half-orcs are proficient with greataxes and falchions and treat any weapon with the word “orc” in its name as a martial weapon.
*Languages: Half-orcs begin play speaking Common and Orc. Half-orcs with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following: Abyssal, Draconic, Giant, Gnoll, and Goblin.
