About Tanildel

Background-

Tanildel hails from Kyonin, far south of Brevoy. At a very young age the elf was unruly and arrogant, thinking himself untouchable. To prove it to his friends, he lured a wild beast near their tiny village and tried to defeat it. After a terrible failure Tanildel`s parents rush in to fend off the savage creature, saving their son but losing their lives in the process. Wrought with guilt, he sets out on a pilgrimmage to atone and eventually stumbles his way into a small monk temple. Many years and many lessons later he is sent on a journey to help others as his parents helped him. This new journey finds him at Oleg's, looking for a way to lend aid against the plight of bandits.

Description-

Wearing loose-fitting clothing and a travelers robe, perhaps the only inclination that would give off the impression of a monk would be the clean-shaven head of the elf. This might be easily dismissed given the unusual choice of weapon slung over his shoulder, a longbow. At a closer look there were also two quivers on each hip, hinting at more than just a traveler hunting quail. The only visible scar from his childhood error is quadruple claw-slash over his left cheek and eye.

Personality

Having corrected his childhood attitude, Tanildel is a serious-minded elf. Though he may forget himself and enjoy a conversation or a joke, as soon as he realizes he puts his serious face back on. He is ashamed of his scars as they remind him of his past, tending to be defensive and deflective when asked.
