With that, the hooded sage approached Marie, but left a respectful distance between them.

Taltōsh then stood silently, allowing the woman to work through her grief undisturbed.

Casting magic missile defensively: DC 17, 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27

Taltōsh carefully cast and hurled a bolt of silver force at a sword-armed zombie.

Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
