( it was me that said to throw them to the floor , but as i stated , i didn´t have any item besides the badge , and i wrote that i said to the others " we should leave them behind"...although in thruth no one responded to what i said...)

Talinthas looks with disdain to the cultists,moves up to the one pointing them away,and giving him a threatning look, turns away from the scene and let´s his Aspis badge drop to floor while walking away from the room and going towards E7 , signaling with his head to the others to follow him.

There , he asks the others if they feel the group has already sabotaged the compound enough .

Sorry to hear about all those problems....at least you not unempployed like me :-( ....but that´s life...we just got hang on :-)

In his turn Talinthas will move up to the Automaton and attack:

Confirming the critical:

Talinthas agress with Roary and starts moving outside of the room , positioning himself so he can look towards area E7 from the corner.

Talinthas agrees that it´s best to get moving , and don´t waste any more time....

He takes the lead going into the corridor that runs from T17 to T27 , going carefully and trying to hear anything suspicious.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 = 18

Talinthas moves to attack...

Talinthas moves on his turn , to R13 , and attacks the creature in S13:

Talinthas stays in the back of the group , precisely because of chanting sounds from behind. Always looking back for any trouble....

I propose investigating the first door on the right of the corridor.

I didn´t state the fact of not doing eye contact with the beast , because i said i used my shield in front of me ( for that purpose). Sorry for not making that clear.

Using the opening of the bars made by Roary , Talinthas steps up to the Basilisk and tries to hit him , now lowering his shield to have a better view...

From where he is , Talinthas tries to strike the creature with his sword...

Confronted with this , Talinthas asks his friends to attack quickly the creature :
"Onward my friends let´s not leave friend Bedwyr like this..."

He uses his turn , double moving to get back into the N/S corridor ( in front of the monster), and puts his shield in front of him ,blocking the view between them.

Talinthas hearing Tiasar´s warning , closes his eyes and advances 4 squares, passing near Bedwyr and draging his body into the corridor to the East.

( do we still go by the initiative order?)

Seing that the creature is behind the closed bars , and not sensing any danger from it because of this , Talinthas moves to the left , and jumps over the Glyph , ending his double movement besides Roary , so that he can next help him open/force/break the bars.

Acrobatics check 1d20 - 6 ⇒ (18) - 6 = 12

Initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 = 12

Talinthas takes out his weapon and shield from the back and prepares to battle....

Talinthas whispers to his teammates:
We need to procede with caution , because i hear faint sounds of chanting coming from down for the interior. There is also a scratching and shuffling sound, which i cannot pinpoint.
Tiasar , could we go over the glyph , maybe jumping, without activating it?

Talinthas touches Roary shoulder and examines the mosaic.

He also tries to remember if he saw that design elsewhere...

Talinthas puts the Aspis badge also in clear sight. And follows Roary in the descent .

Talinthas says to his companions to get moving quickly , so they don´t appear to know what they are doing.

Talinthas silently nods in acceptance.

Sorry for my part also , but i´ve been organizing the local CON , and i haven´t had anytime in the last week for anything else. Will get better during this week.

During all this time , Talinthas was staying quietly behind the other members of the group , but never to refuse a drink , participated in the "drinking interrogation" of last night , laughing half-heartedly at the obscene jokes going around , but using this time to rest , and despite being in the compound, he manages to maintain his military composture and dressing discipline.

As soon as all the members enter the office , he stays behind , using his body against the other to keep shut and secure , while the others do the talking...

I have, but remember i´m passing for a someone that doesn´t talk....do you think you can find something to work around this?

Talinthas galantly aproaches her , and taking her hand kisses it , and says:
"It has been an honour to have made dealings with my Lady. I hope that we can meet in other circunstances and i´ll gladly pay any tributes your Goddess deems necessary ...."

Talinthas looks a little "surprised" to Crar , he can´t believe that his companion is suggesting something so low and "unrightful" as maybe using a woman as hostage!!

He shakes his head "no" discretly.

Talinthas is still "being in Character" , because playing a silent Paladin is difficult to express much more....

He is thou, checking carefully , and thorougly , Shomofa , and tries to sense any threats from her ( already checked previously) while trying to show to her that she looks very "pleasant" to his eyes.

Talinthas refuses the wine , silently shaking his head.
He tries to read the woman´s intentions:

Talinthas is vexed by the moment , and wordlessly ( and vehemently) signs to Roary to get the work done as soon as possible and get out of here.
He bows down to the woman in sign of respect ,and eagerly awaits for Roary to do the job...

Talinthas also goes in , wanting to keep an eye on his fellow companions , so that they don´t loose track of the real mission...

So does Talinthas...

...and goes with Roary to have that drink...of course.

Talinthas just shakes his head ( and laughing inwards) at the "strangeness" of the situation....

There´s not much i can do without being noticed , so i just stay stil...

Don´t forget that in terms of story so far , i´ve been playing the "silent one" , so i don´t have to lie.... If i have to speak , it will be difficult not to go against my doctrine and beliefs...

Talinthas says:

My friends , take it easy , i´m sure our friend here( pointing to Rolf) doesn´t need our help , looking as capable as he looks. Let´s offer instead our "experienced services in providing him rest " instead of getting his armor dirty.

And he smiles showing of his blade and putting on his " i-know-how-to-use-my-sword-face-and-i´ve-used-it-plenty" for Rolf.
