About Talegalla Birru
Talegalla Birru was born on the Idari, a massive Kasathan generation starship orbiting the Pact Worlds sun between Verces and the Diaspora. 'Tal' as he is known to his friends and ship-mates originally trained as a mechanic but soon proved a capable pilot, flying small pods to repair hard to reach sections of the starship. His exceptional abilities in the cockpit were enough to see him recruited into the Kasathan military as a shuttle pilot, despite the generally poor opinions held by Kasathans regarding the Ysoki. After a tour at the controls of a shuttle Tal yearned to fly something more challenging but his many requests to transfer to starfighters were denied. Frustrated by this situation when his period of service was up Tal declined to re-enlist, leaving the Idari to seek opportunity elsewhere in the Pact Worlds.
