Giving a sigh and sitting back, Sylvia looked around the workshop. "So, what all do you work with here?"

"Is there any way to keep the rest of the rodents away from the ship?" Sylvia asked as their host took the suit from Xaikon. "There is no way in all nine layers of Hell I'll let them keep me from that prize, guv, I'm gonna learn all I can from it as quick as I can." It almost seemed like her eyes shone brighter and grew three sizes as she thought about the ship they left behind. "Oh, by the by, you know a good priest that can get rid of a poltergeist keepin' us from the engine room?"

So, it seems that Myth-Weavers lost any sheet data saved after July last year. I'm having to go through my sheets and fix anything that I lost. I'm not sure how long this will take. Sorry about this.

As the woman threatened the rat men, Sylvia drew her gladius in preperation. "Never did like rats," she said, purposely loud enough for the wererats to hear. "Always nasty and full of diseases."

As they fled the room with the invisible attacker, Sylvia gave a sigh of despair. "Do you know how much we could learn from that room?" she said. "We need to get rid of that thing and go back!"

"Alright, ladies, let's just move out a bit," Sylvia said, backing away slowly with her gladius raised.

Dunno what kind of rolls to make with this, so I'll post the action and you can let me know. Don't have a sack of flour, but hopefully this will work.

With no sign of the enemy, and no kind of magics to reveal them, Sylvia was left with running through a list of everything she owned, her mind working furiously on a plan. With the others spreading out, a figurative fireball went off over her head as she gave a smirk. Reaching into her pack, she drew out her waterskin before opening it and flinging water everywhere, hoping to get some to land on the creature attacking them.

Taking the lead, her enthusiasm for this wonderful piece of technology giving her a skip in her step, Sylvia was surprised when pieces of metal laying around on the group flew up and flew straight at her. Moving wildly out of the way, she was able to dodge the first two pieces before the third scored a small cut on her cheek. "What the Hells?" she exclaimed, looking around for any other attacks.

Is there something actually attacking us or is it more like a trap was set off?

The Pathfinders do have some knowledge from Numeria, including a language primer. Also, THAT'S HILARIOUS!!

Just asked because I read somewhere, not sure if it was for this AP or something else, that androids didn't start off with Androffan.

Handing the weapon to her winged friend, Sylvia said, "Here, you seem to be the best among us with ranged attacks, you'd probably be better suited to figuring out the best way to use it. Unless one of our new companions already know how?"

As Kinna pulles out some kind of tech that looks compatible with the various consoles arrayed around them, she said excitedly, "Ooooh, plug it in, plug it in!"

~Before the Cockpit~

"Yeah, I'm a member of the Pathfinders, though still low on the totem pole," Sylvia said with a shrug. "I haven't been published just yet, though I was mentioned in passing once or twice in other's. I'm hoping my explorations here will be my big ticket to rising through the ranks." Hearing them discussing what, exactly, Pathfinders were, she explained, "The Pathfinder organization as a whole is based around discovering and understanding new information, though every sect and individual has their own goals. One group, based around Andoran, is committed to freeing slaves, while another focuses on hunting down demons and devils. Really, we're a lot more individual than most think. I like to thing of myself as an explorer and scholar."

~In the Cockpit~

As they wandered down the hallway during their talk, Sylvia was instantly distracted by the flickering lights of the consoles. With a squeal of glee, she rushed in, heedless of any danger, and started 'ooh'ing and 'ahh'ing over everything she found. As she went from one thing to another, she bumped into the still occupied chair, though the occupant wasn't about to complain. Examining the corpse, she was surprised to find that many of the being's things were still functional, including the suit it wore and a strange recording device. Pressing a random button, she listened in awe as the being's voice was heard for the first time in untold ages. "Wow," she whispered as it finished. "This guy here was the captain of a much bigger ship, if I heard it right," she told the others. "Seems they had some kind of incident, doesn't say what, that killed off most of the other crew before they could make it to this ship, which I guess is a kind of space lifeboat. Mentions something about an AI, and installing something into a 'Unity' console, not sure what that is." Still lost in thought, she started taking all she could from the captain.

Who all can understand Androffan other than me?

Sylvia's eyes grew wide and sparkled at the mention of papers on the various technologies in Numeria, which was strange given the relatively low light levels in the area. "You have actual, studied papers on Numeria's technology that is outside of the Technic League's grimy paws? The Pathfinders have next to nothing on this area! Hello, my new best friend!" she exclaimed as she wrapped an arm around the new android's shoulders. "Come on, let's get rid of a few rodents and go learn something!"

I thought about starting out with that, but it would have fit her backstory. Really need to go through the Tech Handbook again and figure out all the prereqs I need for various things. Only thing I've got right now is a very high K.Engineering and the Technologist feat letting me use various skills on tech items.

Shaking her head at the negativity from the android, Sylvia rebutted, "With the proper cooling systems and ventilations, it would be no worse that a baker's kitchen. Besides, just think of all the previously undiscovered knowledge one can find! Every mage on Golarion has done some kind of study into the various magics in the various planes, whether arcane, divine, or psychic. But this... The furthest people have gotten with technology are the firearms in Alkenstar, and most of those are highly unstable!"

That's actually why I made a female, wanted to keep the femme fatalle theme going.

Also, as we go forward, I plan on putting ranks into Craft (Technology) as we get exposed to more and more examples of advanced technology in our journies.

"Wait, lab?" Sylvia said, perking up slightly. "What kind of lab? Alchemy lab? Crafting lab? Or maybe... Does she have a tech lab?!" She rushed right up in front of the other human-looking sentient with the constantly billowing cloak, eyes shining in anticipation. "Please tell me she's a tech crafter! Please please please! Ohmigosh that would be so cool!"

"Wererats, huh?" Sylvia said, slightly cautious of the new-comers, though she did sheath her gladius. "Why didn't she warn us of that when we got the quest? Seems a mite suspicious that you show up now that we've got the area cleared out."

In the middle of examining this doodad and thst daddoo, Sylvia heard a faint voice cry out. "Egads, we've got visitors!" she said as she drew her sword. "Be ye friend or foe?" she called out.

"Yes yes yes, dragons are scary," Sylvia said distractedly as everything around her caught her attention. "So many people have studied dragons that there's nothing worth looking for. Here on the other hand, so much new knowledge, undiscovered or squirreled away by those damned Technic a**holes, that are just waiting for me to find." She suddenly stoppe with a determined look on her face and shook her fist in the air. "You hear that, Technic League?! I'm gonna find all your dirty little secrets and then they'll be mine!"

"Well, with a bit of work from someone who knows armor we could probably slim it down for you, lighter though less protective," Sylvia said as she ran her eyes over the damaged suits. "Honestly though, luv, unless you want it for the aesthetics, might be easier to sell them and buy some armor, bet we can get some nice cash for the two." Picking up one of the suits, and giving a small grunt with the effort, she started folding it in various ways to get it more portable.

As the last skeleton fell, Sylvia gave a sigh of relief that quick became a squeal of delight as she fell upon the strange armor they wore, and the now vacant pods. "Oh wow, these are amazing!" she exclaimed as her hands roamed over the strange materials.

What kind of checks should I make for these things? Gonna try to figure out functions and worth.

Didn't we get some kinda weapon oil or something to help with undead? And I almost made a full caster for this campaign, but I had been playing a lot of casters then and not many martial types.

As she nimbly dodged around the skeleton's clumsy attacks, Sylvia scowled at the lack of damage she was dealing. She loved her gladius, a gift from her mentor, she really did, but she needed to get something else for situations like this. Maybe a good mace, or one of those tetsubos she once saw a Mwangi tribesman carrying around. Putting those thoughts on the back burner for now, she once more lashed out with her weapon.

While her strike struck true, the defensive nature of her foe kept any damage from being inflicted.

Can't wait until I can get the Agile weapon ability, be doing a lot more damage.

"Ah crap!" Sylvia exclaimed as the undead's claws dug into her flesh. Drawing her weapon, she retaliated swiftly.

"Woah," Sylvia said in awe as she looked around. Walking up to one of the mostly-intact pods, she gave it a close examination to see if she could get it to work.

Following along behind Xaikon and keeping an eye on the notices on the walls, Sylvia dreamed about going back to the Pathfinder lodge with amazing stories about her findings in this strange land. "So, what all have you discovered since you've been here?" she asked.

Successfully climbing down the slope to the bottom, and thanking her light frame for not weighing her down, Sylvia looked around in wonder. Even with all of her studying before making her way to Numeria, this was the first actual ship she had ever been on and her excitement had her all but quivering. "You've all been on one of these before, right? Where's the control room, that would probably be the best place to start with." she asked the others as she looked around for any kind of signs.

I have Androffan as a language, so I can -hopefully- read anything we come across. Also, can't wait until I reach level 9, I get a fly speed!

I'll take the 5 point cure, that plus the rest will put me at 10 points under. I think Val took more damage than me so she can have the bigger one. Also, how many points of ability damage did we heal? I'm down 5 Str, 5 Int, and 1 Wis.

After a day of digging in shifts, they finally made headway into gaining access into the ship. As she looked down the path, Sylvia tried to figure out if she could safely make it down to the floor.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. Work has really been picking up lately, and with me working overtime, by the time I get home I just haven't really felt the energy to do a lot of gaming. Am getting used to the increased workload, slowly, but I appologize in advance if/when this happens again.

That said, got my stuff leveled up earlier this week, but kinda forgot where I put all my new skill points and stuff. Took the Amateur Investigator feat, as I thought that was fitting for this character, and gained Weapon Training 1 in light blades.

Giving a short cough, Sylvia said, "I'll be fine to continue for now. Let's go see how much loot we've racked up and if there are any technological lovelies for us to cuddle learn about." Moving closer to the fallen beast, she gave it a quick kick before kneeling down. "Hey, you don't think that this thing was mutated by something from down there, do you?"

Sylvia felt like she was holding her own against the beast. Right up until it released a massive breath attack. The insidious gas seemed to delve right into her body, and she could feel her mind become foggy. Unable to tell which creature near her was her target, and momentarily forgetting just why she was fighting, her sword lashed out.

Not sure what is closer to attack, so I'll leave that up to you. I doubt I hit anything anyway. Also, how long am I sickened for?

The creatures attacks were harsh against the lithe woman, the claws tearing into her body with lethal intent. And though Sylvia was able to resist whatever toxin was in the claws, the creature radiated an aura of poisonous energy that worked to sap her strength. "Try to stay at a distance! This thing can poison you just by drawing close!" she warned her teammates with a grim look. "Alright, you bloody wanker, if that's the way you wanna toss, that's how we'll toss."

With fire in her eyes, she swung her sword in a graceful arch, trying to bring the altered manticore down.

Giving a strangely savage grin at the grounded beast, Sylvia was quick to give chase. Drawing up to it, she slashed heavily with her short blade, hoping to get a good wound going on it.

Almost seeming to dance around the projectile, Sylvia tried to look for a way to get the creature into sword range. "Archers, aim for the wings! Bring the beast down!" she cried out.
