About Sweet Pea
A Gathlain is not born, it is germinated.
Strange seeds fall from a great tree in the deepest parts of the fey realm. They are blown by magical winds to the far corners of the first world, where they grow into the leafy-winged Gathlain.
Occasionally, a seed may be blown even farther, even into the material plane. Such was the case of one seed, which came to rest in an old hermit's garden, deep in the Darkmoon Vale.
The elderly druid named her for the plants she grew among, before her pod opened. They lived a simple, quiet life together for two years, as he taught her the common tongue, and somewhat about the mortal world.
One morning, only a few days ago, the old man didn't wake up. It was sad, but he had warned little Sweet Pea that it was going to happen soon, and had told her what to do when it did. She gathered what things she felt she would need, left the remains to be reclaimed by the forest, and headed south to the town of Falcon's Hollow.
Appearance
She is just under 3’ tall, with a floof of dark green hair streaked with brown. Her skin is pale with a slight greenish tint. Her ears are long and pointed, sticking out from the sides of her head, and her eyes are purple. Her wings are made of vines with long slender leaves. She wears a heavy patchwork skirt, with a top made from her own living vines wrapped around her torso. Clusters of small ruffled flowers, in pink, purple, red and blue, decorate her person in various places.
Personality
She is friendly and inquisitive to an extreme. Her optimism and enthusiasm know no bounds, though this can manifest as a certain naïveté. She can become listless if her curiosity or desire for companionship are not satisfied.
