Description:
A gentle, humble giant of a martial artist who strives to do good in the world by fighting injustice, but also wrestles with preventing himself from falling into the undisciplined rage and brutality characteristic of his ancestors.

Background:
Kong's human mother committed suicide shortly after his birth, and was taken in by a foreign missionary, who raised him to practice the art of unarmed combat and mental discipline. Kong learned at an early age that he was a pariah to human society, especially despised by the Shoanti. When his master passed away, Kong continued to live away from civilization to practice the arts in solitude, secretly dreaming of one day proving worthy of joining Varisian society.
