![]() While the others discussed with Meepo about the small creature's dragon, Soval began to mentally step through what he knew about the relationship between dragons and kobolds. Lost in thought for a time, he came to the conclusion that he knew really nothing and that this would be an excellent opportunity to add to his repertoire of knowledge. After all, someone might be willing to pay for a pamphlet on such things. As the others began follows the kobold, Soval smiled and followed as well, falling into place just ahead of !Ko. ![]()

In my studies I've seldom come across mention of animated skeletons without there also being mention or other, more dangerous undead or necromancers. Caution is indeed the path we should take ahead." ![]()
![]() Soval pauses for a moment at the top of the stairs. Looking down, he could only see darkness. Smiling to himself, he closed his eyes and concentrated on opening up his psychic Third Eye. After a couple of moment, he opened his eyes. Those meeting his gaze might notice a slight greenish tint to his pupils, but otherwise nothing was different. However, now when he stared off into the darkness, he could see a several dozen feet into the inky blackness. ![]() Soval had been quiet for most of the journey. ALong the way, he seemed to be lost in thought, moving his hands as if reading through scrolls or pages, and moving his lips with some unknown words. As they stopped at the top of the pit and Waited for Kenzi to climb down, he began to get more attentive, looking around and taking it all in. When Kenzi reached the bottom and encountered the rats, Soval finally let some words slip out as he was climbing down the handholds. "I hate rats..." Strength(Athletics): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 ![]()
![]() Soval followed behind the others, shaking his head at the bickering and arguing before they even were officially grouped together. Everyone he saw in the room looked to him to be fairly competent, at least in the way they carried themselves. Their manners and egos on the other hand may take a bit of getting used to. This was one reason he preferred quietly listening before he jumped into conversations and situations. Knowing what one was dealing with was an important lesson he had learned at the academy. With this group though, he was still unclear where things stood. Perhaps the next discussions with the VC would clear that up. ![]()
![]() Amid the talk and discussions, a young man entered the room walking with a quarterstaff. Standing tall with an athletic build, his turquoise eyes and a slight smile were framed by his shaved head and tattoos. One of the tattoos wrapped up to this forehead around his left eye, and another was barely visible along his neck on his right side peeking out from under his leather lamellar armor. His movements were smooth and fluid, but his muscles also showed some use. Somehow, he gave the appearance of a strange cross between a librarian and a city guard. As he glanced around the room, he took all the others in and looked them up and down as if evaluating them. As he saw the others speaking with the short woman, he waited his opportunity and sipped on a drink. |
