About Soomdevi

Mother heard a baby crying among the mangrove roots. She wanted to take care of the baby, but Father was superstitious. The baby looked like gray death, but screamed like it was alive and ate like it was starving. Mother named it Soomdevi, after the flowers that grow among the mangrove roots. Now mother is gone, and father and son don’t get along, haven’t gotten a long for a long time. Son has grown fangs and become a man. He does not want to become a Shipwormer like his father. He feels a pull toward the occult, and the shadows.

It gains resistance to all damage (except force) equal to half your level but can’t use any actions requiring a physical form. The familiar can also slip through gaps at least 2 inches wide, or 1 inch wide if it Squeezes. It can use this action again to return to its normal form.

If the Strike is successful, the target is enfeebled 1 and its shadow disappears. After 24 hours, the enfeebled condition ends, and they regain their shadow once more. Any effect that reduces or removes the enfeebled condition restores their shadow as well.
