About Sirocco the Oracle of Battle

Sirocco was born deaf. Her parents, ashamed of having a disabled child, were going to sell her as a slave, when the church of Irori intervened, offering to take the girl as their servant instead. There, the priests tried to teach Sirocco the way of the cleric, but the child had a strange knack for magic. She could sometimes make magical effects, but usually not what the priests were trying to teach her. Baffled and frustrated by the girl's inability to cast simple spells, the priests instead put Sirocco to work doing manual labor around the church. She spent her free time reading what few books on history and magic she could find. As she got older and stronger, the church decided to hire Sirocco out to the Pathfinder Society to bring back knowledge and items of Irori from distant lands to expand their knowledge of their patron.

Sirocco is tall for a female, standing just over 6'1, and very muscular. Her hair is straight, long, and inky black, and she normally keeps it held back in a braid or tied up under a number of scarves and shawls. Her skin is deeply tanned and leathery, from having worked in the sun for long hours tending the church's grounds.
