Background:
Simeon Iskandar is a curious case, a Vishkanyan man though not of pure blood. His mother a human woman, Claris Iskandar, his father a Vishkanyan, Ori Scaleborn. Simeon himself was poisonous to his mother, and despite the spells of his father, the poison could only be delayed, not stopped. Simeon's birth lead to his mother's death, and his father decided to have Simeon keep her last name over his.

Though he largely appears human, Simeon's insides are poisonous, filled with natural harmful chemicals hazardous to most organic life. While his father's blood is seen as a curse in many regards, it also holds a small blessing. The blood of the maestro flows within him, a talent of song and expression. It has influenced his magic and his mannerisms in many ways. Frequently Simeon breaks into song, delivers his spells with rhythmic sonatas, using his soft voice to deter those around him from violence.

His theatrical nature spreads to all of work. His outfits are vivid, his skin painted a deep blue. He dyes his skin, hiding his scales to appear like a performance actor. He speaks in the third person, often in statements that reflect is "grandeur."

Simeon is sympathetic to races who are with cursed blood or heritage. He frequently surrounds himself with people such as this, finding a bond in their roles as society's outsiders.

Character Goals
1.) Secret. Despite his childhood having little discrimination, Simeon wishes to find a way to undo his Vishkanyan blood. He has made it his ultimate life goal to seek to be born again as a human, and to share his secrets with those who share his affliction. He follows rumors of places that might make his dreams come true. He often hides this by stating he seeks adventure, greatness or treasure. It is for this reason he travels the seas, seeking ancient powers to grant him his wish.

2.) Unconscious. Simeon is young and seeks guidance. He abandoned his father in search of a cure for his blood, and has always lacked a mother-figure. He seeks a person he can regard like a parent or mentor.

Quirks:

1.) Frequently ends statements and phrases with "ya know?"
2.) Very informal. Wasn't taught proper etiquette, was largely brought up in the company of nomads, sailors, ruffians, and his father.
3.) Avoids romantic contact, though is quickly one to flirt. As poison fills his saliva and blood, he largely views romance as being more platonic. He sees flirting almost like a sport, though he is aware the repercussions often catch up to him.

Bloodline Abilities:

Bloodline Arcana. Whenever you cast a spell with a verbal component and no somatic or material component, you treat your caster level as if it were one higher.

Beguiling Voice (Ex). At 1st level, you can use the sound of your voice to lull a target creature into taking no action. This ability acts as the daze spell, except it is language-dependent, has a duration of 1 round, and affects a living creature whose Hit Dice do not exceed your sorcerer level(+1). You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Charisma modifier.

Traits:

Boarded in Varisia, campaign: Simeon has traveled far in search for rumors of powers to change him to be human. Even among strangelands, he remains exotic.
+2 Bluff to Natives.

Reactionary, combat: While his antics and charm attract many, there are some who see through his guise and see him as the poisonous man he is. These interactions have lead Simeon to be ready for a surprise strike.

Ascendant recollection, magic: Simeon is lucky in some regards to share blood with his father. He had training in his sorcerer bloodline that most sorcerers do not get.

--RACIALS--

Subtle Appearance, alternate racial.You have normal (human-like) eyes, and your beauty is more conventional. You gain a +4 bonus on Disguise checks to look fully human. This racial trait replaces low-light vision.

Limber. Vishkanyas receive a +2 racial bonus on Escape Artist and Stealth checks.

Keen Senses. Vishkanyas receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.

Poison Resistance. A vishkanya has a racial bonus on saving throws against poison equal to its Hit Dice.

Poison Use. Vishkanyas are skilled in the use of poison and never accidentally poison themselves when using or applying poison.

Toxic. A number of times per day equal to his Constitution modifier (minimum 1/day), a vishkanya can envenom a weapon that he wields with his toxic saliva or blood (using blood requires the vishkanya to be injured when he uses this ability). Applying venom in this way is a swift action. Vishkanya Venom: Injury; save Fort DC 10 + 1/2 the vishkanya's Hit Dice + the vishkanya's Constitution modifier; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; effect 1d2 Dex; cure 1 save.

Weapon Familiarity. Vishkanyas are always proficient with blowguns, kukri, and shuriken.
