Appearance

Spoiler:
Sillas ir’Vraxeris appears to be a handsome and well-groomed aristocrat in his early twenties, usually wearing a almost black leather vest and fashionable clothes is deep blues, reds, and blacks. His dark brown hair is shoulder-length long and often pulled back from his merry brown eyes. He wears a sable cloak and a rapier hangs from an elaborate sheathe on his belt.
In reality, Sillas ir’Vraxeris is a tall, gangly creature with pale white skin, large pale eyes, and pale, almost white hair.

Bakstory
Spoiler:
Sim lives the life any petty criminal would kill for. He’s the favored son of a wealthy noble, he’s given the very best of everything. Most people like the cheerful young man they now as Sillas and he makes friends easily. What these people don’t know, is that the pleasant young noble they’ve become friends with is in fact a changeling con artist named Sim.
Several years ago, Sim was a down on his luck con artist desperate for coin to pay off the various loan sharks and gambling halls to whom he owed large sums of money.
He met up with another thief and together they came up with a daring plan: to rob the opulent Vraxeris Manor in the Skyway District. On the night of the Tain Gala, when the Manor should have been deserted, they snuck inside and began their thieving. Things took a turn for the worse when they encountered the Vraxeris heir, Sillas ir’Vraxeris. The young noble challenged them and called for the Watch.
In the ensuing fight, Sim was badly wounded and Sillas was killed. When they heard the Watch’s arrival at the Manor, Sim’s partner in crime, a halfling thief named Miko, fled. Unable to follow due to his wounds, Sim thought fast. He hid Sillas’ body and took his appearance. He passed himself off to the Watch as Sillas ir’Vraxeris and prepared himself for the more difficult challenge of fooling his ‘family’ until he could escape.
For weeks he impersonated the young noble, explaining his odd behavior as stress from the attack and constantly studying the young man’s journals, correspondence, and friends. Soon he made mistakes less often and people assumed that he was just recovering. He decided to impersonate the young man for a while longer, to get the big score but matters became further complicated.
He found that he liked being Sillas ir’Vraxeris, young noble and heir to the Vraxeris estate. He found himself liking the luxiourus life he led. He liked the friends that he now had, he liked his adopted father and mother, he liked being a member of Sharn’s high society, and he didn’t want to leave this life and go back to being Sim. In all honesty, he found that he didn’t want to rob these people either.
So he decided that he would become Sillas ir’Vraxeris forever. Soon no one questioned his behaviour, he perfected his role and lived with ease amongst his adopted friends and family.
Recently however, he has begun to tire of the charade, wishing that the friends, family, and lovers who care for him cared for Sim, not Sillas. He tires of them knowing him, liking him, but at the same time calling him by a name that’s not his own. For the first time in his life Sim wants to tell the truth but he knows that, if he did tell the truth, the people would see him as an imposter and a thief, not as their friend. He knows that instead of being their friend, he would be reviled and thrown to the Watch as a murderer and a thief and his friends would mourn Sillas ir’Vraxeris, not realizing that their friend was rotting in a prison cell.

Friends

Spoiler:
Tara d’Cannith- Marked Cannith heir. Young, optimistic, somewhat idealistic. Has an affinity for constructs and mechanical devices. Strong proponent of warforged rights.
Merreck ir’Tharias- Merreck has only been a member of their little group of friends for a year, having recently come back from Xen’drik, where he spent several years exploring the wonders of the ruined continent. His family is wealthy due to a strong mercantile concern and to a connection with the infamous Boromar Clan, although no one would suspect them of being connected with organized crime. Merreck himself is unaware of his family’s illegal allies.
Having no real duties Merreck spends most of his time at the Morgrave University where he spends his days sharing stories with other explorers and planning his next expedition.
Personality- Merreck is friendly, cheerful, and well-educated, and also something of a rogue. His greatest joy comes from the exploration of Eberron’s past, particularly in regards to the giant empires of old. He will happily exchange stories with anyone interested and, although he often embellishes and exaggerates tales of his own exploits, he is quite knowledgeable. Everyone who meets Merreck immediately feels his passion for knowledge that resides just under his happy-go-lucky demeanor.
Maeder d’Phiarlan- The mournful-faced Maeder d’Phiarlan is an unmarked son of the House Phiarlan who is becoming known for his skill as a poet and artist.
Thervi ir’Alkrien- Elitist and slightly arrogant. Student of the arcane arts. Family owns a major shipping concern. Family originally from Sarlona; emigrated to Sharn generations ago to escape the Inspired. Being trained to manage the family business after her father dies.
Jorras ir’Beren– Once a member of a relatively minor family within House Sivis, Jorras
left the life of administrative toil near the end of the Last War and trained to be a member of Zilargo’s intelligentsia. When the War ended, he left Zilargo’s service and traveled to Sharn where he became a junior reporter for the Sharn Inquisitive. He’s garnered some fame for his work for the Inquisitive and is always looking for that big story that would put him on the front page and make his name a household one. He is fascinated by politics, especially the darker side and also by the organized crime that plagues the city.
He has recently taken up the mantle of freelance inquisitive, using it as another method to research the political and criminal warfare of Sharn.
Personality- Jorras has a quick mind and an even quicker tongue, indeed,
his biting comments often get him into trouble when he makes them at inappropriate times. He possesses a strong curiosity and something about him gives the impression of someone who is always watching everything and gathering data for later use.
He knows that he’s a rising star the world of journalism and isn’t afraid to flaunt the fact, some would even says he’s becoming arrogant.
