Very rough go, with the lack of Disable Device and the early end to the interrogation of your friend in the summoning circle costng the secondary success and both boons. :( Please let me know if I missed anything on your sheets. Someone should damage that unconscious psychic before he acts. I fear he will wake up if we do not. Not sure coup-de-grace is necessary. Just do some damage.

That damage was non-lethal. Shine says. He might regenerate from it quickly.

Why would I need to include the DC? Either way, update to come once I get home.

I see that now. But you did not indicate a DC, Shine got a 28 so I'm thinking she takes half. :) AP adjusted. Shine is full after that channel.

I have attacks I can use on the enemy but Triix was gonna bleed out this round with 2 bleed and the normal bleed from being negative IF they stack. Plus, without healing Shine would have gone down with another psychic blast.

I am leaving again for a 4 day blacksmithing trip. Will have laptop and will try to keep up. Camping so not sure of connection ability.

GM Toz, is there a save for half with that psychic damage? And is 27 damage accurate on Black? Seems like we have done more than that. He was at 27 before taking 10 from me. If he healed I missed it. Maybe that psychic spell heals him also though...

Torn between getting to riix and trying to end this threat, Shine's protective and healing nature takes over. She moves closer to Triix and uses her last channel to heal all within 30' of her and stop Triix's bleeding. With a thought she excludes the enemy from her healing magic.

With the fog gone Shine hops down and double moves.

I need to understand Triix's status a little better. Her health reads 16/26. Is that accurate?And I do not know why she made a will save?

We seem to be stalled. Zanac is up and has been since Wednesday. Bot him and move on?

There is a small chance of success but I can burn my 3 star reroll if need be. We have likely lived through at least half of the spell duration already. But I worry that IF this foe is a sorcerer he will recast this spell as soon as it ends.

I missed that Trix was holding the scroll. I had seen that mentioned as a suggestion. Can Shine have taken it as move action this round?

Unsure about this now. DC was 18 so both failed. Shouldn't they have taken the full 24 points?

With magic missiles flying I had to quick channel to save Kaervek. Channel will average 14. Tentacles are doing 10+

The real issue is our party balance is poor. This is a replay for me. I am only here to try to keep you guys alive.

I have 6 more channels so can keep us alive for a few more rounds. Maybe my fire will do something. Expect the tentacles to last at least 7 rounds.

Trying to keep her party standing and whole Shine channels a second time, using two channels to quicken the healing. She then casts Fireball catching both grioths. She will place the fireball to be as far from the party as possible and still catch them and not the down person in the room.

Healing: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 5, 4) = 17

Fireball: 7d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 5, 2, 3, 6) = 24 Reflex Save DC 18 for half.

This triggers Glorious Heat healing someone for 3 and giving them
+1 to hit. Since no one is wounded after the channel Shine will take the +1 herself.

Shine is not entangled but she is also blocked from entering the room. I do not believe she can see any enemies and if that is true she delays.

She will channel to heal everyone's damage afgter Xanac takes a turn. Seems like the damage should resolve when the spell is cast though...

But we got lucky and now that spell is gone. It was of the highest level I could cast so without a night's rest I cannot attempt it again. I have no special training in penetrating spell resistance or pushing past a strong willed creature such as that, I can only say Sarenrae was with us.

I posted here before I read the game thread. That was a close save. I only had slightly better than a 1 in 4 chance of the creature failing the save. Whew.

Because I was only in one other game I left my browser on that game and did not see that this has restarted until that other game ended. If you guys need me and the GM is good with it I will jump back in. But also fine not to do so.
