This looks like (almost certainly!) a low level table, can play what you guys like though :)

Please feel free to dot in!

This is a Tier 3-4 table.

Please feel free to dot in!

Welcome rockstars, we will pretty much kick off now as we have a decent table.

Greetings, Starfinders,

Nominated First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo speaks from behind her cluttered office desk. An elderly ysoki eagerly paces behind the First Seeker, adjusting his glasses every few steps. Luwazi continues, “As I am sure you are aware, I recently announced that the Starfinder Society intends to continue its investigation into the Scoured Stars and the incident that occurred there. I have chosen you to pursue our first lead. Thanks to Royo here, we recently learned that the library world of Athaeum could contain valuable information related to the Scoured Stars—information that could prove key to disabling the shield guarding the system. Royo is our resident expert on Athaeum. I will let him explain the details.

Taking his cue, the ysoki steps forward, adjusts his glasses one final time, and continues the briefing, “Athaeum is one of the great wonders of the galaxy. It has no fixed location; rather, it disappears and reappears throughout the universe at seemingly random intervals. It’s not random, of course. You see, the planet actually has a powerful magical engine tha—

Royo,” Luwazi chides the elderly ysoki, shaking him from his tangential explanation.
Royo nods before continuing, “Ah yes, sorry. Where was I? Oh, yes! A group called the Curators controls and maintains Athaeum, along with the world’s libraries that contain the rarest of knowledge. In fact, all knowledge on the planet is unique because the Curators actively ensure that every piece of information stored on their world is the last copy in existence. They have even gone so far as to destroy knowledge on other planets to ensure that this is the case.

For long time we were unable to secure access to Athaeum’s libraries,” continues Luwazi, “But recently, Iteration-177, a member of the Aspis Consortium sympathetic to the Starfinder Society, indicated that they have a relationship with the Curators. Through Iteration-177, we have secured passage for a small group to the library world. Your mission is to escort Royo to Athaeum and uncover whatever information you can on the Scoured Stars. Additionally, try to establish a good relationship with the Curators, who could prove to be useful allies in the days to come.”

If you have the High Society Influence (Royo) boon, this is a good scenario to slot it in (First Mandate)

5/5 ⦵⦵

We have a few game days and events coming up, and I am just trying to get a feel for how AP's (esp Aeon Throne) could be slotted in.

Can you achieve an AP chapter (book) in a respectable manner over a 0900-1730 day (two 5 hour sessions), or is that pushing a point?

***SOLD OUT IN 16 HOURS***
/some waitlist possible

The fearless PFS/SFS Crew from New South Wales (Australia) will be setting sail for a Con Voyage, a 3 day con (PFS/SFS) being held aboard the Carnival Spirit sailing from Sydney on the 23rd of August.

Whilst it is currently sold out, the waiting list is not unreasonable and the price was pretty decent (quad share was $409 for a balcony suite).

We are running PFS & SFS over the period (was supposed to be 4 tables x 4 sessions - but that has blown out).

If you would like to know more, waitlist, or express interest in a 2020 sailing please PM me.

Hi all,

Just kicking off the GM only thread for the Siege of the Diamond city so we can maintain communication and ensure nothing gets missed.

Thanks for being the GM team for this special. I have run four of the MTS as 'Community specials' and am really happy to collaborate with the online venture crew for this 'Multi multi-table' special event.

We have 13 tables for this special and it appears they are all pretty much rammed full.

As the Overseer, I will be posting into your Gameplay threads with any 'Overseer' text. I will also provide links above for tracking successes as the special requires at certain times, and also a link to the city sector map that will be updated on a regular basis.

Shared prep and the like is always helpful, so feel free to give each other a hand. There is invariably an eager beaver out there with a slide pack and minibox to share. There will also be a general 'running sheet' with key dates and information to help us keep our timings coordinated, but as a general rule of thumb we tend to use the '5 mins of game time = 1 day' ratio.

Posting speed & Absences
Players and GMs will need to be mindful to post daily, these specials don't take weekends off, and the pace is pretty rapid. We will have a stable of back-up GMs, so if you need to take a break, please make sure you line up coverage with them prior to departing.

Reporting:
GMs will gather player data and issue chronicles, details of where to provide table info for reporting is still TBA.

Boons:
Details on boons will follow in due course.

Event name: PbP Community Multi Table Special III
Event number: #158,592
Begins: Fri, Jan 5, 2018 (for approx 53 days)

Hi all,

Just kicking off a GM only thread for the special so we can maintain communication and ensure nothing gets missed.

Thank you for being part of the GM team for the next Multi on the boards. This is the third one of these that I have run, and each time has been a good learning experience, and well received by the player base.

At present, we have 16 GM's scheduled and a body of 'back-up' GM's ready to assist.

When we get closer to the launch of the day I will generate a 'public' Overseer thread on these boards, and per standard custom and practice, each Overseer announcement will be posted into the Gameplay threads.

Shared prep and the like is always helpful, so feel free to give each other a hand, and historically we have managed to get a Googleslides kit up and running of maps etc to make prep a touch easier,

From the admin side:
* Game Day support has been requested and acknowledged, but not yet actioned.
* I have requested scenario support, expect those to drop the week prior to the kickoff.

Reporting:
GMs will gather player data and issue chronicles, I will add the GM's as reporters to the event and you can input your table direct.

Boons:
These will be detailed once I get approval from the mothership. I normally do the 'won' and GM boon issuing.

***
I will be away and out of contact (dodgy to nil internet on South Pacific islands) from 18 - 28 Dec and will not be online during that period, but any questions raised here will certainly be addressed when I return.

Hi all, some of you I haven't gamed with before, some I have - so for the benefit of all concerned, I'll give a bit of general info out.

* As I am in Australia, I am about 10 hours ahead of the majority of players, so we will be technically playing 'in the future'.

* As I am in Australia, a lot of the peak posting period is when I am in bed...

* This is fine, as I make sense of all the posts overnight and sort out my games over breakfast - and occasionally during lunch, and then again at night, and other random times. That said, I have some odd work patterns (one of those jobs) and this can be disrupted occasionally - like starting 1300 on one day and ending 1600 the next.

* As I post at least once a day, I hope you will too.

* If you can't post for a couple of days or there is a problem, a quick post works wonders. I am occasionally out bush (Crikey!) and there is usually no signal, but will warn you all out well before I do so.

* If you are MIA/AFK, you may or may not be botted along as appropriate, but this is made easier if you give us an idea of your likely plans (actions, spells, general 'vibe')

* Combats - I run the bad guys as a block. I'll keep you up to speed on who's turn it is and who can act. I'll take the actions IN THE ORDER POSTED (unless it really doesn't make sense)

* If I need something rolled (ie a save) please roll it in the next post as your FIRST roll.

* If you have any issues, feel something was missed or otherwise isn't right, a "Hey mate,..." works wonders. If it is a bit sticky then a PM is also good. Starfinder/Pathfinder is an evolving game, I don't pretend I know everything and am happy to be corrected :)

* My bias is in favour of the players, I want you guys to have a good time - and hopefully also a challenging and memorable one.

* I'm not OCD, but you'll notice I almost always post checks etc in alphabetical order unless the order of play requires them to be done otherwise (eg a Reflex Save, followed by a Fort Save).

*An example statline should probably look something like this:

Iseph | sp 24/24 | hp 28/28 | rp 6/6 | EAC 19 KAC 19 | fort +1 ref +8, will +4 | init +2 | Perc 9 (LL& Dark)/ Android ace pilot operative 4

* A character sheet should probably looks somewhat like this:
Sheet info exemplar. This was a copypasta from a pregen layout, probably too much info in the gear section, but as we are all n00bs, the more info the better I suppose. Or not. We will work it out.

You have been summoned to the Lorespire Complex on Absalom station Station to meet Venture-Captain Arvin [see slides] for a briefing.

***
The doors to the office slide open with a soft pneumatic hiss. Inside is a well-lit and blue carpeted office. Venture-Captain Arvin, a handsome and determined-looking damaya lashunta, sits behind a desk, his eyes riveted on a glassy display. After a heartbeat, he glances towards the open door and motions everyone to enter. “Apologies, please come in. Be seated if you like, although this shouldn’t take long.” Arvin taps a button on a console and murmurs to a digital assistant, “Croyd, put everything on hold for a few minutes. If anyone calls, please explain I’m in mission briefing and I’ll get right back to them.” He then darkens the display to give his full attention. “Right. I have an assignment for you. This one is a little a different than others you might have received" He pauses before he explains, “It’s an internal matter. You’re probably aware that after the Scoured Stars incident many of our colleagues elected to leave the Society. That is unfortunate, but not surprising. We hate to lose good field agents, but no one is conscripted into our ranks. Normally we wish them well and that’s that. In this case, the defector, former field agent Reynald Talbot, stole an artifact from the Lorespire Complex before departing. Theft is where the Society draws the line; I need you to get that artifact back".

“Unfortunately, Talbot left weeks ago and we only discovered the theft in the last 24 hours. We launched an immediate investigation to determine the identity of the thief and their last known whereabouts. It’s our bad luck that Talbot was smart enough to get off the station and head to Akiton, where there’s no central government or law enforcement to easily call upon. I need you to track him down and recover the artifact. We know Talbot caught a shuttle to the Akitonian city of Maro, so that’s a great place to start. The Society will, of course, cover your travel expenses.”

Replaces old thread

My Gameplay thread seems to be vanishing my text into some alternate reality HERE.

I type thing in, and they just vanish, yet the post count is rising.
