Background:
Shadfrar was a member of a disenfranchised tribe of Shoanti that found themselves in Magnimmar. Essentially a homeless street gang, Shadfrar and his people carved out a piece of territory for themselves in one of the danker parts of Underbridge. Every day was a battle, either against Sczarni thugs or other Shoanti gangs. Word went around that one of the gladiator schools was testing for talent and that there was gold to be earned for the winner. Shadfrar entered and soon found himself a Serpent Runner. Most of his earnings go back to his family in Underbridge. He has been approached to aid a group of Pathfinders.

Appearance:
Shadfrar is massive at 6'5". His hair is close cropped so as not to give an opponent something to grab onto. His nose has been broken a few times, and his knuckles are massively scarred. His cool gray eyes don't flash with the fire of his barbarian kin, they unsettle his opponents nevertheless. He has totemic Shoanti tattoos on his neck, shoulders, and arms. Otherwise, he dresses simply and unadorned.

Disposition:
Shadfrar was of the first generation to be born within the city walls and not a refuge from the plains. So he doesn't have some of the trouble adjusting to city life that other Shoanti might. His world on the streets was no less savage. He tries to do best by his family, though some of the older ones still don't see much use in the shiny yellow stuff. Shadfrar doesn't understand their reluctance. The city runs on the stuff. Gold is a better future for his quah. His first response to meeting a new person is usually sizing them up for a fight. Once his loyalty is earned, there's nothing he wouldn't do for a teammate. He has an odd gallows sense of humor that's common to those living in Underbridge.
