I'm going to have to bow out. Having a hard time keeping up.

I was a bit busy with my wife being sick the last few days, but I'd be in, preferring to be as "mostly unchanged" as possible if that works.

Trying to get back into it. A lot to catch up on.

Out of the hospital, recovering and getting caught up

So I'm currently in the hospital. Bug bite on my ankle resulting in a bad allergic reaction that was headed toward septic.

Might be a bit slow posting. I started a reply post to Kallik about her sister. Hope to have it up soon

Having stowed away the seed to show to Kallik later, Sequoyah watches the exchange and near fight between Odebie and the newcomers, breathing a sigh of relief when some semblance of rationality takes hold.

Sequoya, Mishipeshu seems agitated, or perhaps just interested, in something nearby. He is sniffing the grounds loudly and vigorously.

Her attention drawn from Kallik's interaction with the strange former fey, Sequoya turns to see what has Mishipeshu agitated, walking over to where he is focused.

Perception: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36

Sequoya watches in silence as Kallik reaches out, seeking to pull Odebie out of his spiral, being inspiring in spite of herself.

"Maybe we should look for the throne room that bizarre fey from before was in? See if that gives some clue as to what happened here." Sequoyah suggests with a shrug.

Grumbling while moving away from the temple. The further from that place the more her muscles relax, bleeding a trail of tension in her mindless wondering. Slowing down and glancing at Sequoya and Mishipeshu trailing after her, Im awful at this. Incapable of playing nice with anyone.

Moving out of the street and leaning against a wall, "Sorry. I'm not sure I am ever going to get a hold of my temper."

Digger her toe at the ground, "Just no answers, more questions."

"Your temper is the bright inside you expressing itself, your passion for things...and annoyance at things that don't make sense.. You shouldn't have to quell that for anyone." Sequoya says quietly.

"The questions will eventually lead to answers, but first, they have to burrow under the lies, deceits and confusion.....hmm...do you notice...no Fey anywhere around us?"

Had quite a few doctors' appointments for my wife and furniture delivery/arrangement/return/debaucles. will get caught up

Sequoya silently rests a hand on Kallik's shoulder.

"Screams of excruciating pain, I heard them in my dreams, as did Kallik. The groan is merely what is managing to come through." Sequoya says with solemn concern.

Sequoya watches Abnaki the way one watches an animal, when trying to decide if it is rabid...ready to strike it down if necessary to keep everyone safe.

Having slept poorly, despite the healthy exhaustion that usually followed a pitched battle, Sequoya awakens and gathers her gear and armor, comparing notes with Kallik to find she'd experienced much the same.

Heading to Samen, her suspicions that the dreams had something to do with the bizarre warlock, she listens quietly as he advises Kallik to communicate with her axe.

From her vantage point on the broken steps, Sequoya takes in the remnants of the battle field. Determining her immediate area secure, she and Mishipeshu take off after Kallik, to bring annihilation to any lingering enemies in the tree district.

Should still be able to manage regular posts. Fun so far. Looking forward to it.

Seeing the charging behemoth's steps falter slightly, Sequoya focuses, calling forth the powerful energy of another localized earthquake as she brings her foot down.

"You will FALL!!"

1st time playinga Hunter and for some reason I thought they were a prepared caster, but they can cast any spell they know spontaneously, so second thunder stomp it is.

Sequoya stares down the behemoth as it races up the temple steps, knowing that there is nothing her bow could do to stop it. Fortunately, her skill with a bow was far from all she brought to the battlefield.
Reaching deep for the power of earth within all oreads, and calling upon the raging power to topple mountain, the huntress raises her foot, bringing it down in a powerful stomp that sends a terrifying shockwave racing down to greet the charging behemoth.

Cast Greater Thunderstomp
You stomp your foot or strike your weapon against the ground or floor, creating a ripple of power that you can use to trip a Creature. You can target multiple creatures with this spell, including creatures more than one size category larger than you.Attempt the Combat maneuver check to trip the targets, but instead of your base Attack Bonus you can use your Caster Level, and instead of your Strength modifier you can use your Spellcasting Ability Score modifier (Intelligence for magi and wizards; Wisdom for druids and rangers; Charisma for bloodragers and sorcerers). When you attempt the Combat maneuver check, apply its result to each Creature within the area. This trip attempt does not provoke an attack of opportunity.

Sharp eyes scour the battlefield, taking in every action, and every threat, locking on the armored entity representing Moon. Slowing her breathing, blocking out all distraction, the huntress takes aim, targeting her enemy's eye as she releases a perfect shot

Focusing on the energetic link to Inam, Sequoya uses her connection to Mishipeshu to channel Inam's healing into him.

Expecting this battle to be long-term as opposed to a brief skirmish, Sequoya further prepares, calling upon her nature granted powers to enhance her and Mishipeshu's skin with a layer of rough, protective bark.

Setting her sights on the Moon Inquisitor, Sequoya sends a pair of arrows streaking toward the enemy, hoping to bring them down quickly while Mishipeshu paces before her, ready to attack any enemy that closes in on her.

I'd picked the middle to start with the bow/ act as overwatch. That's why I asked the distance. Something Mishipeshu can cover ina round at full speed.

If you think it would be better for me to be at that bottom that's fine.

Selecting herself an ideal spot in the middle of the expansive temple stairs, Sequoya draws upon the sacred energy of life, infusing herself and Mishipeshu with some degree of defense against the coming death and darkness, while enhancing their ability to react and granting her bow greater deadliness.

Taking in what would soon be a battlefield, she makes a point of noting Kallik's position below, the great cat beside her instantly aware as well.

"Alright. If you need me though, I'm here." Sequoya says, leaning back against the reclining Mishipeshu, and closing her eyes. [spoiler]"Eventually you'll start to believe it yourself."[/smaller] she mumbles with a smile.

"Or because you did what needed to be done...despite personal cost or difficulty. You do not give yourself enough credit Kallik...or any at all. Others see your value, even when you do not, they cannot all be wrong."

Always the huntress, Sequoya prepares her mind and body for what may come, even as she takes advantage of the rare opportunity to rest, lake a predator, ready to shift from lounging to pouncing in an instant. Most of her life had been preparation for life and death battles, for her, those she cared for, her tribe....this would be no different, other than perhaps in scale.

All my buff spells are minutes in duration so will cast as needed at the beginning of actual combat

Returning the shrug while idlily tracing the green veins on the white axe, "Hard to read them. They are so very different from el I have dealt with before. Different experiences and.. well they are strange." You have been quiet.

Shifting uneasily, "Doesn't help that my temper might have gotten away from me."

"You're dealing with a lot. I can't tell you how many el's heads I practically bit off while my sister was missing. If talking helps, I'm here." the huntress says supportively.

Dressed in armor that appears to be a blend of stone, bark and other natural materials, the tall, sleek oread studies those around her with sharp citrine colored eyes, her shrewd, yet calm expression giving the impression of a predator at rest, assessing those around her to categories as prey, enemies or pack mates.

The powerful tiger beside her, striped in green and deep brown, with the occasional deep violet flower sprouting from his thick mane, matching her own lush verdant hair intersperse with the odd deep purple iris, watches each of the elen present, occasionally glancing back at the huntress, almost as if reading her thoughts.

Having felt somewhat overwhelmed by the teleportation process, she was content to remain silent, learning as much as she could of the strangers. Now resting quietly before they moved forward, she looks over at Kallik, sensing the volatile oread’s emotions were in turmoil.

"What do you think of these new, companions....allies?" she asks with a shrug, while idly running her fingers through Mishipeshu's mane.

My wife had her spinal surgery and is in recovery. The time required for her healing was why I needed to drop.

I'm sorry a lot of this stuff is from the older parts of the game Sequoya! Are you still enjoying the campaign? Is there some narrative I can introduce that will get Sequoya more involved?

I can say, it's easy to be in character since I'm usually just as lost as Sequoya would be.
