First of all thank you very much. Nothing I can do about the stats really.

What are your thoughts on the Startoss style feat chain?

Also; would I be able to mitigate the blink back belt by using this feat:

Ricochet Toss (Weapon Mastery)
You are able to angle your thrown weapon attacks in such
a way that the weapon ricochets and immediately returns
to you.
Prerequisites: Quick Draw, base attack bonus +6, weapon
training class feature with a ranged weapon.
Benefit: When you make a ranged attack with an
appropriate thrown weapon, the weapon returns to your
hand immediately after the attack is resolved. This ability
does not allow bullets, thrown ammunition such as darts
or shuriken, or thrown splash weapons to return to you.
Improvised thrown weapons don’t return to you unless
you have the Throw Anything feat.

I could then pick up a belt of mighty hurling later, and with that would it be better to go 17 STR 17 DEX, as eventually the DEX will just be for AC?

Hey guys,

I would like to make a throwing based character. I'm currently thinking chakrams, but anything thrown is fine. All paizo content is allowed, but no ninjas/gunslingers/alchemists. Core races only.

Any thoughts on the weapon master's handbook?

Stats are 17 15 14 9 7 7

Thanks in advance,
Septhsilver

I would prefer human.

Hello!
I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me make a fast talking scoundrel for an upcoming CoT AP, think a cross between Drothe from Among Thieves(good book), and Locke Lamora from the Gentlemen Bastards(also great). His main feature would be smooth lies, cunning deception, and quick thinking. In short, the party talker, trouble maker, and scallywag.

I've heard good things about the Negotiator bard archetype, although feel free to suggest whatever.

It will be from 1-13, and most official paizo content should he good.

My 3 stat choices are below, arranged however you wish.

1. 17, 11, 6, 12, 17, 16
2. 12, 16, 6, 13, 18, 15
3. 15, 11, 8, 15, 7, 15

Thank you greatly in advance,

Two things you need to remember:

You get a +1 high ground bonus to attack rolls. This makes up for having 4 strength less than a human or half-human from an accuracy standpoint.

Your racial SLA can qualify you for arcane strike. This eventually can compensate for your -4 strength from a damage standpoint.

Isn't gnome a -2 to STR? And I'm trying to think of someway to get arcane strike into the lore. That and I don't really think a static +3 damage at level 10 is worth the investment.

Hey guys,
I'll be playing in a Council of Thieves AP and I was wondering if you guys could help me.

I would like to play a mounted gnome lance charger, preferably a paladin, although I am open to other suggestions for both class and combat style. I can choose either a 20 point buy, however dumping a stat down to 7 yields only 3 points back instead of 4, or a best of 3 sets of 4d6, arranged as desired. Again, feel free to advise. 4d6 averages out to 12, but maths has never been my strong point. I have played about a year now, although I'm still not super familiar with the all the rules. All CRB allowed, and all other paizo stuff on a case by case basis. Starting gold of 3x average, so 525 if I'm playing a pally although I can double that again easily by writing up a half decent background story. It's looking to end at around level 13 or so. That should be everything important, although if you really wish you can view full character creation here.

Thank you in advance,
SepthSilver

EDIT: does lance charge multiplier stack with smite.

Hey guys! Standard character creation help thread.
Idea:
I have decided to make a crazy gnome who believes he is one of the horse riders of the apocalypse. As for the specific rider, I think that I might choose pestilence (pest-insolence), although he could also be interpreted as conquest. But hey, I'm not here to give you a religious lecture, you're here to help my build a character! At later levels, I would really like to use the Mammoth Rider archetype, mainly because that stuff looks fun as anything, charging through someone as a mad gnome on top of a massive Elephant screaming biblical lines sounds fun as shit. The levels leading up to that are probably going to be beastmaster, because mastodon.
Experience:
I've played pathfinder for about a year now, although I'm still a bit of a noob. I'm also quite confused as to how animal companions work.
Allowed materials:
PFS stuff, as I am playing PFS.
Campaign Details:
PFS.
Level: 1
Ability Generation: 20 point buy
