The pdf uses quantum digital technology so more can fit on each page compared to the print version. You just have to squint four-dimensionally.

Correct, though pregens is even a stretch as this is very rules light to allow us to focus on our love of horrible puns and word play (player participation is strongly encouraged).

Character flavor is up to you, setting is at a magic academy. The assumption is you are all students or at least there to learn, though in my first run there was a fighter that had gotten lost.

Curiously, one of the Medium size bases in my box is yellow. Not that it matters, but is this a quirk or is it intended?

This will be my first foray into running a game at PaizoCon so I'm hoping to make it memorable. If you love puns, wordplay, and generally messing about with words you're in the right place, if not, well, you may want to back away slowly.

Feel free to ask questions if you have them and to commiserate with the others who "win" a spot here.

A bit more info on characters - pregens will be provided for stats but players are free to change everything else about them that doesn't affect game mechanics, so be who you want to be.

Should i count "Put all other cards back in the box" as banish? I'm on the 3 adventure deck and i don't know if can remove cards with the basic trait from the game.

Banishing is a game mechanic while playing scenarios, putting the cards back in the box does not qualify as banishing them.

Have you looked into using Flip-Mats? Basic or Bigger Basic both fold fairly flat to 8x10 inches & use wet or dry erase markers.

Perils of the Lost Coast is more of an introductory prequel for the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path. The rules recommend starting with Perils and then continuing on to the full AP with Burnt Offerings. Your character(s) would keep anything you earn in Perils including card and power upgrades.

Hello Guy, glad you're enjoying the card game. I've flagged your post to be moved to the Adventure Card Game forums where you'll get better results.

These serve different purposes: The larger Adventure Mat helps to organize the scenario cards & blessings deck, while the Character Mats organize the character's individual card piles. There is no overlap between the two.

My favourite game so far, is Lord of the rings LCG. In every pack what they create, they are providing a story. For those, who do not need this, they are not force to read it, so it will not hurt them and for those other (I hope I am not only one) it will be great improvement of game. So do you plan in the future to put stories in your games? By my opinion, this is the last thing this game is missing to really replace a dungeon master.

Yes I know what you mean, and just like you; I wanted more information about the story (which is quite deep actually) behind each game set. The solution is not actually cheep but it will give you what you are looking for.

If for example, you would like to know story behind the first card game (Rise of the Runelords) you will need to buy Pathfinder...

I've checked with our Canadian distributors and the three that have replied so far all have both boxes in stock.

One potential issue with Bestiary 1 pawn box is that our product number changed from PZO1001 to PZO1001-1 when we reprinted it, so the first would show as out of print.

That doesn't apply to the Bestiary 3 pawn box (PZO1009)though, and so far I have no answer to why you're finding it hard to locate. If anyone can email me store names and distributors who don't have them I can research this further - link is on the Contact Us page.

Well, 3 posters rather than sheets - each one 34" x 22" & printed on one side. They're the size of 8 single sheets of paper.

Ah, I see where the confusion lies. You see, in this case the humans ARE the resources.

For example, a rogue with two weapon fighting at level 1. He's flanking a foe and hits with both weapons that round. Would the sneak damage just be +1d6 for the round? Or would the sneak damage be +2d6, one for each hit that one round?

Technically it would be +1d6 for attack #1 and +1d6 for attack #2, not +2d6. If both attacks succeed the net result is the same, but damage should be figured separately in case there's DR or other factors.

Also note that when replaying a scenario you only earn the scenario reward for successfully completing it once, so replaying scenarios that reward additional powers or skill feats do not increase those bonuses. And you only receive the reward for success, and letting the timer/blessings deck run out counts as a failure.

That's what's confusing me. Apparently the distributors in Canada are having issues getting it. The two stores here say they can't even order it. Have to see what happens in the New Year.

It's definitely not out of print and should be available for distributors to order, could be they're just out and haven't restocked. Aside from ordering them directly from us (I know, Canada shipping, though our holiday discount would defray some of that) keep asking so they know there's demand, making sure the stores & distributors know it's the pawns, not the hardcover.

I just got my first case subscription and wow... opening all those boxes is fun AND tedious. Is there policy on broken/warped minis? Sad to report, a small number of the figures arrived broken off their stands or warped so that even resetting them with a hairdryer won't work.
