Description:

A solid dwarf with gray hair and beard, Saradoc is usually dressed in plain cloth robes and simple belt. He may have his pack with him containing his sewing kit, but if in the temple of Muir, he can either be found in the library sorting books, in a small classroom teaching novices, or patching clothing in a small workshop, all the time wearing a pair of small reading glasses. They don't hide his blue eyes, bright with laughter. At 3' 11", he is a little short for a dwarf, but despite his age he seems very spry, not as stocky as you would expect.

Background:

What happens when a Paladin Falls? When they go to the Dark Side, as it were, we know of the mayhem, the chaos and the evil a Fallen Paladin can bring. However, what about his friends and family? What happens to those who were loyal to the Paladin?

The tale of Saradac Honorblade is not that of a Fallen Paladin, but of a Fallen Paladin's companions. His mentor, an Elf Justicar by the name of Caladriel Rosland, turned his back on the Code of Muir. He did so in spectacular fashion, not just by pledging his allegiance to Orcus, but by attempting to slaughter the group of Muir Worshipers and there body-guards in an attempt to curry favor. It was a hard fight, but it ended with Saradac taking the killing shot with his Longbow.

Rather than risk that same temptation, Saradac decided to step away from the Justicars and join an order of Monks who worshiped Muir and helped care for the temple. He took up the cloth and has performed admirably in his duties. For the past 85 years he has been the one appointed to teaching the basic tenets of worshiping Muir to those faithful who wished to become clerics, inquisitors, paladins and monks. He is known for being strict, yet snarky, usually getting several giggles from his younger students when they aren't misbehaving.

Several years back he met a human boy by the name of Alexander Pierce. Recognizing the passion for Justice the boy had, Saradac began to mentor the boy as he became trained in the path of the Justicars. Such a relationship has turned into a firm friendship, and he will regularly meet up with Alexander to spar in hand-to-hand combat, drinking, or just to hang out.

Saradac has most recently been asked to go back into the field, as rumors within the church have begun to spread of the possibility of Lord Bishu still being alive in Tsar. He has joined up with Alexander and a small group of adventurers, for what could be a truly great story.
