Background:
In the western ranges of the Mierany Forest lies one of the most sacred artefacts liked to Desna, one of the 7 Bells of Mercy. The artefact is lying in a small clearing, amidst the ruins of a tower that used to support it. Drawn by the magic of the artefact, a murder of Witchcrows took residency hundreds of years ago. Across the course of generations, changed by the proximity of the artefact, its sanctification effect and the many dreams sent by followers of Desna seeking the bell, the Witchcrows changed both physically and spiritually, leading the birth of more and more Greater Witchcrows, some of them with more powers over the Dream. Sahira was one of them, much larger than her kind, with a coat more iridescent than black and driven by the curiosity and restlessness of followers of The Song of the Spheres. As soon as she was of age, she left her clan and joined a Varisian caravan. There, she found that her attirance for shiny items and blend of arcane arts were in high regard and gained her nickname of Sahira. She also learned the arts of fortune-telling and developped her ability to use Harrowdecks. Unfortunately, this also drew the attention of Lucian Aldor, a wizard with an improbable collection of monsters. With her powers, she managed to abduct and capture the still yougling Greater Crow and add it to her collection. After capture, Sahira had a conflictual relation with her new master as she could not bear to be held captive. She tried to escape to no avail then became unresponsive and started to sleep more and more, finding escape in the dream dimension. Despite not moving from her arcane reingorced cage, she grew in size and might roaming in the Dimension of dreams. This phenomenon drew the attention of Lucian ALdor who reinforced the bindings on the sleeping bird but did not disturb it. The day the wizard was killed, Sahira found all her magical binding loose and managed to escape back to her clan, traveling through their dreams. However, in close proximity to the other Monsters held captive by Lucian Aldor, she had shared their dreams and developped a sense of camaraderie with them. Now free and far awy, she could sense their growing indecisiveness everytime they went to sleep and decided to come back and help them.
Appearance and Personality:
Sahira (her True Name unpronounceable by anyone not speaking crow) is a mastiff sized greater Witchcrow with rainbow-colored feathers and razor sharp talons. She carries her Spelldeck and a second Harrowdeck in holster-like cases under her wings and hes trained to draw them with her beak and throw them accurately. She had a good control of her voice and can swith from soothing to unbearable when she cackles. In her way, she feels responsible for her companions and will try to counsel them and push them softly towards the direction she thinks is in their interest, showing them the benefits or drawback of the different options. She is still very interested and intrigued by magical items as well as ways to predict the furture. She uses both dream interpretation and Harrowdecks and will offer to read everyone's future at every possible occasion. PbP and Pathfinder experience:
I've been playing PbP and Pathfinder for more than 5 years on different sites but stopped 5 years ago. In that time, I was involved in a few campains, some of them lasting multiple years. After a long hiatus, I had more time on my hands and started playing again since last summer. I'm in GMT+1 time zone, so may post at different times than most of the other players. This can be an issue sometimes, depending on the playing style. Finally, I've not set foot on discord yet, but this should not be an issue. Notes for HD increase:
An alebrije with 5 Hit Dice or more gains DR 5/magic (or DR 10/magic if it has 11 Hit Dice or more) and SR equal to its new CR + 6 (or SR equal to its new CR + 11 if it has 11 Hit Dice or more). In addition, an alebrije gains cold resistance 5 and fire resistance 5 (or cold resistance 10 and fire resistance 10 if it has 11 Hit Dice or more).
