My group is complaining about the pace of the Serpent's Skull adventure.

We've only been playing for two weeks so far, but they are complaining and I can't exactly blame them. Almost nothing has happened so far. I think they were hoping for more of a dungeon crawl.

I was considering throwing a dungeon from another module into the middle of the island as a "ancient ruin". And use that to level them before they go off to the cannibal's camp and mountain. What do you think?

And if you think that is a good idea, any suggestions on which module to steal a dungeon from?

I have almost finished concepting my new character. All the character development stuff is done, now I just have to build him. Problem is, I'm completely new to Pathfinder so I need some advice on exactly what I should do.

My character is a Dhampir who, because of childhood trauma, is a sociopath and a murderer. Neutral Evil, worships Pharasma, has the Blood Drinker and Blood Salvager feats. He works as a mortician, so he has a near unlimited supply of blood coming in to drink. He specializes in the Scythe (mainly because I like the symbolic connection with death. Not to mention the 4x crit).

I was originally going to go straight fighter with the Weapon Master archetype. but then I started thinking about prestige and saw the Assassin. I really like the idea of prestiging into assassin eventually and becoming more of a stealthy killer, but it has complicated things a tad.

Bottom line: with all of this information, should I be a pure fighter? Should I dip into rogue? If so, how much? Should I forget fighter and be a straight rogue killer (not my favorite option, cause I feel like I'll lose too much killing power)?

I have two weeks until our game starts. But we will be starting at level 1, so I have time to think about this.

Any help would be appreciated.
