1 post. Organized Play character for TylertheCreator.

Grand Lodge

We've got 6 players in need of a GM tonight at around 7:30/8:00 CST. The players are:

Dom
Tyler Tanner
Daniel Dahms
David Wolfe
Dave Weiss
Ninijo

If you're willing to GM, let us know. We need something playable by 1st-3rd level characters.

I've heard two different answers on this subject. There are certain scenarios that mention being replayable, such as "The Confirmation" and other Tier 1 scenarios. When I inquired about this, the GM mentioned that you can't use the same character to play it and get credit for it. However, in the new Guide to Organized Play, I found this quote.

" All Tier 1 scenarios and Tier 1–2 sanctioned modules are available for unlimited replay with a 1st-level character for credit. The sanctioned modules may also be played with a 2nd-level character once for credit. GMs may receive another Chronicle sheet each time they run one of the Tier 1 scenarios or Tier 1–2 sanctioned modules, but may only apply a Chronicle sheet to one 2nd-level character per adventure. " This seems to indicate to me that you may, in fact, replay a scenario with a 1st level character and still get the XP, Prestige, and loot. What's the verdict?

I want to preface this by mentioning that I haven't played in an actual PFS scenario yet, so this may end up being a moot point that never even comes up. In the case that it does, though, I'm not sure how I'd handle it.

PFS only has a certain number of scenarios that can be played. Certainly, there are more PFS-registered characters than there are scenarios, so different characters will end up completing the same scenario, even when they weren't in the same group. Then, if these two characters meet in another scenario, this could happen.

"Hail, friend! I'm Hero the Mighty Hero, slayer of Evil Wizard X!"

"You slew Evil Wizard X? Ha! It was I, Adventurer the Great, who slew him!"

Aside from the obvious hyperbole, how should this situation be handled? Both of these characters may have actually killed the wizard, of which (for the sake of this illustration) there is only one.

Sadly, the area I live in seems to be very devoid of RPG enthusiasts. I like to think I'm responsible for getting a small cadre of us up and going, but as is often the case, many of them have moved on or, for a few, stopped being friends. So, I'm on the hunt for some players in the area. I'm okay with driving a longish distance every month or so for NWARPG Game Days, but for an ongoing campaign I'd prefer a weekly game, and I can't make that drive every week.

I say all that to say this: I need a reliable group of about 3 people who can make it to Green Forest on Sunday afternoons (around 1-6 P.M.) to play Pathfinder in a homebrew campaign setting. It's pretty derivative, but I think it'll be fun. I'll send it to interested parties emails.

If you, or anyone you know, would be interested, please please please, let me know.
