"What a strange Necromancer... I never witnessed him casting a single spell."

ConQuest Avalon starts today, so even if we did continue through the weekend I might only be able to post once a day.

Resolute pulls out a javelin with his free hand and lets it fly towards the "woman".

Resolute lowers his rope, waits until Warren grabs hold, and gently pulls her up.

Resolute looks futilely between chasing the culprit, protecting his allies, and rescuing the fallen Halfling. After mere moments, he makes up his mind.

"We must all stick together. A people divided, are a people defeated."

Resolute drops his hammer, pulls out a rope, and lowers it for Warren below.

"Grab hold! I will pull you up!"

"Leave one vermin alive and it will breed more before it returns."

"Thank you for clearing the way, Mariner," Resolute says calmly as he begins pursuit of the Necromancer.

A double move puts me on this side of the pit, since I don't have enough movement to jump across it.

Resolute visibly clenches his teeth.

"Abominable. Your 'busy work' is over, Necromancer. Surrender and come back to the surface with us. Your defilement cannot be allowed to continue."

Does this game conclude on a specific date for Gameday? Or do we play all the way through?

I don't have any plans for this character in particular, but I try to limit myself to no more than 3 Play-By-Posts at a time and was curious if I should keep an eye out for the next one.

I took advantage of the short stint at my actual computer to move my token next to the doors.

As the group approaches the doors Resolute helps look for any tell tale signs of traps.

Although most of my characters do carry food, I think in my haste to build this character I forgot to do so.

Luckily you can go up to 3 days without food and not suffer any adverse reactions. Water is every day, but we have a Cleric who can create water.

Imagine as he cinematically drops his polearm, rushes through Dave/Warren/Jack, acrobatically dodges in between the two skeletons and ends up Flanking the one on the right, with Dave (pulling his Warhammer as he moves).

Acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Hammer, Rage, Flank: 1d20 + 6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 2 + 2 = 20

Oh. Weird. I posted around the same time as when I posted in the discussion thread.

Resolute assumes an entirely defensive stance, continuing to provide cover for his allies.

Free action: Rage (–2 AC);
Move action: Rolling Dodge (+1 AC);
Standard action: Total Defense (+4 AC)

AC is temporarily 22; HP temporarily 10/27; Rage remaining 3/7.

The Armor Spikes FAQ is in regards to "hands of effort" during a full attack, and has no bearing on threatening.

A Character with a reach weapon, Improved Unarmed Strike, a Boulder Helmet, Armor Spikes, a Blade Boot and a Barbazu Beard can threaten and make AoOs with any of them.

BTW, would appreciate some healing =\. I'm at 6/23

I agree that they would have a claw free for an AoO.

But Jack would be aware of that as well, and might adjust his plans accordingly.

I recommend listing your equipment on your profile so that others can quickly view what you have.

Sometimes very useful in RP interactions, too ^_^

AC temporarily increased to 23, but it's a Dodge bonus, so it won't apply until we can see our foes.

I'm at a training conference until Thursday out of State. While I figured I'd have plenty of time in the evenings to post, I've ended up building relationships with coworkers instead.

Healing the 8 damage on TwoBlades brings our number of charges remaining to:

It's a wide hallway; room for two side-by-side. In fact, with more maneuverability, we could have Dave and Dale in the back, myself and Jack in the middle (less cover for Jack to deal with), and the two Rogues up front (flank buddies for life).

Resolute keeps 10-15 feet behind the leading scouts.
