Description:
With long black hair, warm brown eyes, and a constant smile. Renault is a man of average height, and thin build, holding a glaive. He wears a wooden symbol of Shelyn openly from his belt.
Personality:
Affable and easy to approach. Renault is a very warm and friendly individual, quick to make friends, and allies. He enjoys hearing tales of others, and strangers adventures.
Background:
Renault Oreisen is a born Ustalavic native. Born to an Innkeeper and barmaid in Vauntil, he grew up on the tails of travelers there. The god Shelyn called to him from an early age, and in the gloom of Ustalav, her beauty was like a beacon of light. He grew up, following her tenets and ideals, trying to bring beauty to the grey and bleak nation. He trained in the art of his voice as he worked with his parents at the Inn, and upon coming of age, took all of the tips he was able to get, and purchased a glaive, some traveling clothes, and gear, having long ago managed to talk to a traveling priest of Shelyn, and acquiring a small wooden holy symbol. He set out into the Ustalavic nation to try and bring some beauty and hope into the people. On his travels he came upon a man named Professor Lorrimor, beset upon by some murderous brigands. Aiding the scholar in driving off the thieves, the man was effusive in his gratitude, and Renault travelled with him for a time, learning from the man, and finding a friend within him. Having parted ways for nearly a year, Renault was very saddened to hear of the Professors passing, and heeded the summons as soon as he had gotten them, proud to go to his friends funeral.
