All I have ever known are the cold stone walls that surround me. No blanket to keep warm, no bedding to sleep on, just the cold stone floor. Sleep doesn't come easily chained to a wall but you get used to it. The living conditions weren't so bad compared to the constant fear the he would show up. The man with the crooked smile, every time I hear his keys jingle my blood runs cold, because I know what comes next….pain. The man has injected me with all sorts of strange concoctions each one creating a very unique pain. The man has been experimenting on me for what seems like an eternity to the point that I don't remember anything before the cold stone cell. With each experiment I endure I feel like I lose a little more of myself almost as if I am becoming a different person. It never ends the cycle of pain is growing more and more frequent The crooked man even has someone else with him for some of the experiments an older woman with strange garb. The woman uses strange powers on me different from what the man uses but just as painful. Today I did something wrong not sure what but the woman's powers seemed to work a lot less often this angered the woman and she started to hit me. I don't remember much after that I just remember getting angrier and angrier. I woke up today covered in blood next to me lay the woman in the strange garb battered and broken. When the crooked man saw this he was at first angry then thoughtful and with renewed vigor the experiments began anew. Time passes still in this cell the Man with the crooked smile has yet to come for me. Time continues to pass no telling how long in this dark cell. All I do know is that the hunger and thirst are getting to me. Still in the dark cell for a while now I have been unable to move I guess it is probably do to the lack of food and drink. Even though I know that I am dying I have only one regret I would have liked to see the light one more time.
