About Ra'Shaja al'HazredBackground:
Born Ra'shaja al'Hazred but known as Shaja to almost all, she left her tribe when she was young through the drive of an insatiable wanderlust. Foremost she searched for a meaningful question, as she was compelled to run but was clueless to where she was going. Ultimately she believed she was always heading towards a grand enlightening answer through fate and that the question would convieniently materialize along the way.
Shaja was quite aloof in those days and the world eventually consumed her and her naive pseudo-spiritualism. Her skills were swiftly noticed and she became forcibly employed as a smuggling mule in Nibenay. Working by day as a handmaid in a low ranking Raam noble house's retinue, her true role was to melt down and swallow precious metals from hosting noble houses. The scam was eventually discovered. As the guards of the victim began to gut each of the suspected mules in front of her employer chaos erupted after gold was pulled from the second servant. The two groups of guards descended on each other. The man holding Shaja clumsily slashed deeply across her gut, but she managed to divert his second swipe and redirect it under his armor. Loose of his grasp for a moment, Shaja fled to her freedom. She hid on the streets that night. The next she passed the iron he was carrying and traded it for medical aid and to gain passage on a caravan out of Nibenay. When she arrived in Urik she fell in as a clerk for a bookie in the gladiator ring. With a fresh scar as a reminder, she could waste no time in honing her ability to be quicker and more accurate with a length of sharpened bone than the belligerent people who had lost their bets and felt cheated. Looking for hope, she kept an ear to the street and sifted through rumors. She waited for her fate to catch up with her and lift her out of the drury squalor that her life had fallen into. Shaja eventually gained a second job as a clerk for a reputable merchant. Impressed, this man has now taken on her full time and stationed the elf to work within his Caravan's emissary group for Master Ninshabur of House Eannatum. Her stomach still shows the sweeping white scar and hurts when she makes a swift movement across her core or stretches her abdomen too much. She tries to ease the skin's stiffness with oils, but the nagging tug of the stone knife scraping into her will never leave. The world has worn on Shaja and eroded away her previous outlook. Her spine still crawls with restlessness, but she does not dare to brave it alone anymore. She still believes she'll find fame and comfort in the present and deep down she hopes to find a redeeming quality or beauty somewhere, though in truth she fears and is beginning to believe that all innocence in the world died with her under the stone knife.
Appearance, Personality:
Shaja is a pretty face with a polite tongue. She has dark hair and her tanned skin is flawless and without a mark save for her abdomen. She has a sharp mind and memory, is learned in language and modern times, and accustomed to all dealing from the gutter to the posh suites. She is 5'4", and physically fit due to her almost obsessive activeness. She wears informal desert clothing, as do all the clerks in the emissary group as only the account manager assumes noble's dress. Shaja does wear leather armor hidden under her desert clothing though, as well as keeps a bone rapier at her side, lessons learned.

Class Swashbucklers are proficient with simple and martial weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. Inspired Finesse: At 1st level, an inspired blade gains the benefits of Weapon Finesse with the rapier (this ability counts as having the Weapon Finesse feat for the purpose of meeting feat prerequisites) and gains Weapon Focus (rapier) as a bonus feat. Deeds:
Derring-Do (Ex): Spend 1 panache point when she makes an Acrobatics, Climb, Escape Artist, Fly, Ride, or Swim check to roll 1d6 and add the result to the check. She can do this after she makes the check but before the result is revealed. If the result of the d6 roll is a natural 6, she rolls another 1d6 and adds it to the check. She can continue to do this as long as she rolls natural 6s, up to a number of times equal to her Dexterity modifier (minimum 1). Dodging Panache (Ex): When an opponent attempts a melee attack, as an immediate action spend 1 panache point to move 5 feet; doing so grants the swashbuckler a dodge bonus to AC equal to her CHA mod (min 0) against the triggering attack. This movement doesn’t negate the attack, which is still resolved as if they had not moved from the original square. This movement is not a 5-foot step; it provokes attacks of opportunity from creatures other than the one who triggered this deed. The swashbuckler can only perform this deed while wearing light or no armor, and while carrying no heavier than a light load. Opportune Parry and Riposte (Ex): When an opponent makes a melee attack against the swashbuckler, she can spend 1 panache point and expend a use of an attack of opportunity to attempt to parry that attack. The swashbuckler makes an attack roll as if she were making an attack of opportunity; for each size category the attacking creature is larger than the swashbuckler, the swashbuckler takes a –2 penalty on this roll. If her result is greater than the attacking creature’s result, the creature’s attack automatically misses. The swashbuckler must declare the use of this ability after the creature’s attack is announced, but before its attack roll is made. Upon performing a successful parry and if she has at least 1 panache point, the swashbuckler can as an immediate action make an attack against the creature whose attack she parried, provided that creature is within her reach. This deed’s cost cannot be reduced by any ability or effect that reduces the number of panache points a deed costs.
